Corse gone down hill
The course was in the worst shap I have seen. Most of the greens were in terrible condition.
Very reasonable
Enjoyed a day out at the Old General. Family and golf and reasonable rate. Can't go wrong if you enjoy to golf and not hurt your wallet
Bad Sahpe
Tee boxes, fairways, ruff, bunkers and greens are all in horrible condition. It feels like they have completely giving up on any type of course maintenance. I grew up about 15 minutes away and have been playing this course since it went public in 1996. I've seen it go through highs and lows and it seems like it has been in a steady decline since 96. It has definitely hit in all time low. I get that it's about half the price of other courses in the area but it gets a steady amount of play. I just wish they would invest some of that back into maintenance since I recently moved back to Riverside and now live 5 minutes away. I'll give it another shot in the spring, it will hopefully be in better shape then it was this fall.
New favorite local course
This course a great all around. Great staff, from the starter to the bartender. Nice layout, nice pace, great price. Most definitely will be back.
Decent
I come here often to practice, good place to use your driver but the greens could definitely use some work.
Both fairways and greens are in very poor condition
The course is in very poor condition. Some of the fairways are painted and show more dirt than grass.
Greens are bumpy and splotchy. They may have a fungus. Burn areas throughout. To many beginners. One group of 4 had only one set of clubs. another group had a difficult time getting off the tee, and hit multiple shots from every t box. Neither group would allow us to play through. We had to opt for going around them.
Do not think I will choose to play this course again
Biglarry
Greens were punched and fairways needed to be mowed. But overall course is in good shape. Worth the money.
Bad Pace
I love this course and it’s staff, but 5 hrs and 20 min for a round is ridiculous, without Marshal will be very difficult to play there again
Greens are terrible.
Definitely rough around the edges and the greens were just terrible. It was a depressing round
