course condition is pretty bad frint desk guy was very friendly and so was the starter great people ... course out of bounds is just as good as actual course. would be a great course if greens were good... fee was way to expensive for what i got me and my partner left after 9

Cheap but not good

Cheapest golf course in the area but you'll be paying the price as you play. Ground is rock solid if you go anywhere off the fairway making it difficult to play. You will also have people in front that take their sweet time.

General Old was the home golf course for my kids when they played in high school. I was surprised at the overall poor condition of the course. The fairways had a green/blue dye on them and very little grass.

Fairways are painted green -but I don’t think it’s actually grass

I haven’t played this course in more than 20 years. It was a holiday week- so everything was packed. We were delayed 25 minutes off the 1st tee because of no carts.

The fairways looked nice- but we’re actually more weeds that had a greenish paint or fertilizer on them. The course is challenging with lots of doglegs. Bunkers were groomed dirt- but playable. Greens were in nice shape.

This course has so much potential- with some TLC it could be really nice !!!

I play here on my deceased father's birthday each year because he is buried at the Riverside National Cemetery (next to the course.) "Playing golf with his boys" was one of his "favorite things to do". For that reason I'll continue to play here once a year in his honor.

Having said that...the staff here is AMAZINGLY NICE BUT the course conditions are a bit below average for this price range this time of year. The MAIN reason I don't recommend this course is because they booked tee times 7 minutes apart and that meant there were three groups on almost every hole and the pace of play is awful! 30 minutes late teeing off and almost 5 hours to play. At $44.00, there are better choices on GolfNow.com.
