Bad grass
The surface was terrible, Painted fairways and workers driving in front off you while hitting
Painted course.
The course was literally painted green to look like green grass.; grounds are not well maintained and has ruined my clubs.
Great course
The course staff was very helpful and friendly. The course was in great shape. I had a chance to see staff and friends I have not seen for a long time.
Winter golf
The fairways had dead grass unfortunately but it is into the winter months so I can’t really hold that against them. If you were off the fairway you were basically hitting from dirt. Most of the greens were in pretty good shape. Staff was awesome. Driving range was open but it felt like I was hitting on a slope. I’ll have to play here in the summer to see if it changes.
Decent beginners course
Pace of play is a little slow and the course needs to be better maintain, but for the price(with the discount) is somewhat acceptable.
Best value in IE IMO
So many positives about this place. Tee to green in good shape. Hard pan if you go off course. Best practice area within 50 miles. If you like hitting off grass driving range. Large chipping area. Large practice green. Food and full bar are excellent. I like the military vibe as well. Get to see F16s taking off for practice regularly. Kiki the Dir. of golf and his crew have this place going in the right direction! Play earlier than later if you want to play fast.
Pace of play is horrible. Course is not in good shape.
Good Value
Great practice area, one of the few ranges that you hit off of grass. Large chipping and putting greens. Great food.. I suggest the breakfast sandwich. Kiki the director of golf is very nice and is an excellent teacher if you need lessons. Course is in solid shape from tee to green for as much play as it gets.
Enjoyable round.
Played this course many times and thought this was the best it’s been in awhile. Even though the course was busy pace of play was very good. Will definitely be back to play.
Good for the price but a little slow.
Need a Marshall to push the pace but overall pretty good course.and a good staff.
Fairways
Some fairways were bumpy and brown but otherwise, well taken care of. Greens were in great shape.
