La Contenta Golf Club

The course was in excellent condition like always.The staff in the Pro Shop was very friendly and remembered me from previous rounds which makes the whole experience worth coming back again and again.Thanks for another day on the links, Steve

We arrived a little early and were allowed to tee off before our tee time. Interesting layout, helps if you have played here before as there are a few blind shots. Good condition however, a few rough spots on some greens, some soggy areas in a a couple of fairways. Overall a enjoyable round.

goose droppings was NOT as bad on fairways or greens
I would like to see BALL WASHERS on the tee boxes
course has only 2 and 0 on the back nine.
also very few garbage cans on the course,
lastly having a staff member or even the course marshall take the time to blow debrie off the greens might speed the play up.

Course was in good shape considering the drought and the heat. Fairways were excellent as were all but a couple greens. I like La Contenta and always consider it an option as an away round.

The course was in good condition. The weather was good. Enjoyed the round very much.

Course design has a lot of potential. Love the different elevation changes as it reminds me of courses in Virginia. Due to the extreme drought, the course is dry as it should be; however, the greens were for the most part not very good. Many of the pins were located where it was very wet making putting difficult to judge the speed. There were plenty of other locations on every green where it was very dry. Would have been nice to for to place the pin in those areas. The staff were very nice and the pace of play was very good.

First time played here and I was impressed. Challenging for me but enjoyed playing it.Fairways were in good condition. Greens was good except for ball marks that I have to repair. I would play here again given the chance.

Friendly, attentive staff. Played on Father's Day, so course was somewhat busy The greens needed some tending, but overall course was in good shape. Pond areas needed skimming. Would recommend this golf course to friends and have done so, as this in not my first time playing. Will be back!!

We were greeted by name, got off promptly, got around quickly, and the course was in excellent condition. This is a hidden gem!

The course was nice but $10 extra for the cart fee just for someone to hangout with while you play is little bit too much.

THe golf course was in very good shape except for the greens. It seems as though they have some kind of a fungus. All else was quite good.

Good times had at the course,the ONLY
complaint was some people were like the
Walking Dead...spike marks on the greens.
The course makes you "think" as some holes
are uphill and others downhill.Greens were fast
but fair...need to spin it to stay on.

It was a great day at La Contenta courses in a very very good shape it is worth the price it is worth the money the greens are excellent they take very good care of them it gives you a challenge because they are undulating they have a little adversity to them but they are a great course people up there are very friendly I've enjoyed playing there a number time

Weather was great, staff friendly and helpful. The course was in good shape except for a few bad spots on the greens, but the pins were kept away from the bad areas. The biggest negative is the cart paths. In very bad condition. It isn't a good idea to go to the paths as the grass is much better to drive on.

The course is very unique with unusual and fun holes. Not your typical up and back for certain. Great fun for our group, and since I was the one who picked the course, made me look good!

Benn playing this course for 30 years! Just love it.Staff and conditions are very nice. Got paired with two gentlemen who were not really golfers, but enjoyed the game and tried their best. Very nice guys.

the course was was in very good shape, true greens except for the goose droppings on the fairways!

Played 18 holes at La Contenta with 3 friends from Bay Area. Weather was perfect for early April, 64 degrees w/ slight breeze. Had a great breakfast, hit some balls and did some putting. T off at 11:34 am. A little of everything on this course. Some water, not too much, trees, nice homes, challenging approach shots, overall fairly level with some rolling hills. Great experience, will play again soon.

This course is a great value. It is a great course that let's you use every club in your bag. If you have never played this course, do yourself a favor and do. You will love it and you will be back again and again.

I had a great time! After the recent rains, the course was in fantastic shape! The locals probably don't want others to know this.
The greens were fast and held an approach shot. The fairways were in great shape, not dry or soggy. In a few months, this course will be back to being dry and hard in most places.
The foursome in front of us played quick enough not to slow down our twosome. We had nobody behind us to rush things.
Afterwards, the bar even had Guiness!
