Always love Riverwalk. I’ve been playing the course for over five years beautiful day out great design golf course the staff are excellent very friendly very professional love the bar on the patio it’s very serene always have a good time with my fellow golfers at Riverwalk

We've played Riverwalk quite a few times over the years. It's always in fairly decent shape, but never great. They're doing a lot of work on the fairways (or at least trying to keep people off some portions of them), so there were a bunch of roped off areas. But nothing too limiting, and there were only a couple of holes that were cart-path only. The greens were punched not too long ago, but were fairly smooth and as FAST as we've ever played them! Being above the hole is pretty treacherous. Credit to the course for the good shape of the bunkers. Many in the area still haven't recovered from Covid, but these had fluffy sand and plenty of it. Other pluses: They allowed single-cart riding if you choose and the pace was awesome. Less than 4 hours starting at 8 a.m. in the morning. Overall, it was a very good experience.

Played Riverwalk for the first time, the greens were rolling firm and fast. Greens are hardly ever flat. Fairways are generally in ok condition (grass is a little long IMO). Compared to Industry Hills Ike Course (which costs almost the same if you include cart), the fairways are not good. There are a few holes which bait you to bring out the driver. This isn't a problem if you can confidently carry 250 in the cold. There's also surprisingly good "hills" for a flat area. Bunkers can be firm when damp or wet.

Greens are fast, course is starting to get in good shape.

Overall enjoyed my round, will definitely come back. Heard a rumor that the course is closing for good.

It was a beautiful day to play golf. Was my first time playing, but didn't feel that warm welcome. Staff treated me like I should already know where everything is. The course was good.

Finally got down to Riverwalk after living in San Diego for three years, and I was moderately surprised. This course has one of the most fun layouts I have ever played. However, the course is in need of some TLC, which it is getting. Most of the course was roped off and marked ground under repair. The greens have been lit up and there were a few situations where my putts were thrown off line due to ball marks. Some of this is on the players, but the greens are in need of being pressed and rolled. On the greens that were mark free, they rolled very well. Hopefully conditions improve, but even at the price I paid it was a fair deal.

I've played the course many times and it's usually decent. However today was a little different. They were plugging the course in the middle of the day for one which makes no sense to me and two it's a holiday and the course was booked up. So by doing this you slowed the pace of play to a crawl at best. 5 hours to play a course is just too long, especially when you have to spend 5-10 mins sitting on the tee box waiting for your turn to play the next hole...

This place is definitely not worth the price, first off they’re re-seeding the both sides of the course, so it feels like we’re playing out of the rough even though it’s the fairway!! The price is a joke, they charge $59 to walk and an extra $20 for riding per person!! Everything is roped off so you can’t even get a proper distance! The pace was super slow with a mixture of riders and walkers jammed in between!! This course used to be pretty nice but it seems like management doesn’t are about the place anymore!! That’s just my opinion! But trust me I play many courses across SoCal and have to say this is one of worst unkept courses around!!

Overpriced. GPS removed, fairways roped off. $20 extra, each for riders. Can play a real nice course with nice carts for less. Covid had given them a great excuse for lack of service and overcharging.

When making my tee time on Golf Now on Wednesday and after booking I noticed it was for walking only because they had reseeded the course. My golfing partner just had a knee replacement 7 weeks ago and could not walk the course. I immediately called Riverwalk and they said they would handle my cancellation and for me to get a hold of Golf Now. I proceeded to call Golf Now and you can not talk to a live person. They refer you to the website where you can chat with some one. I have left 2 chats with Golf Now and have not heard back from them . Very frustrating website and I am out the amount of $86.98 which I never played the course.. I am reluctant to use them ever again.
