Great day in the sun. Photo submitted by DinoSheardown on 04/27/2020
Wait time.
I am an early bird who believes a round of golf should last no more than 4 hours.
I started at 6:50 n the first 12 holes was wonderful.
Then I caught up with the “back 9 players” n my round hit a wall.
May I suggest not to send out players to play the back 9 so late. $138 is a good sum n I fully expect to play my round in 4 hours or less.

Lucky Day 🍀
Great experience with my 78 yr old Mom
Bring extra balls
Tight fairways and too expensive for what you get. I enjoyed the layout with plenty of challenges. I’ll only play this course again if I can snag a Hot Deal.
Tricky but great
First time playing this course and was paired with 3 guys who had also not played it before. This course, more than possibly any course I have ever played, has some hidden hazards that can certainly hurt your score. Tons of large elevation changes, along with some impressive views (hole 7) help make it a must-play. I’ll be back. Next time with some knowledge
Great, but not worth it
The course is pretty nice. There is nothing wrong with it. The people were nice as well. However, I personally don't think green fees here are worth it. I would rate the course to be an equivalent price of $80 versus the amount actually paid being ~$130. There is a course in Anaheim Hills called, Anaheim Hills Golf Course which has similar amenities and grass quality that I'd rather play especially since the highest cost for a green fee there is usually $84.
So Cool
This is one of the coolest courses in SoCal. You’ve got elevated tees, canyons to fly over, creeks to clear, and hills all around. I played the day after a rain, but even still the conditions were decent. The fairways are good, the greens were great.
Great time!!!
Went with a buddy on a golf trip. Played 18 had a blast. Jaclyn the cart girl was awesome. Great people good time amazing pace of play! Will return for sure.
Another overpriced marginal condition course
This is short. Played it when it was good and now played it when it was bad. Don't know what the excuse is but a green with no fringe grass is but rather patchy dead grass and fairways with either dead or dormant grass that rivals hardpan.. the rates for such a course are rediculous. I don't care who let their name to it.
Great value, very challenging course.
First visit. Really tough layout. Will definitely go back. A gem.
Brutal grass
For the price, this is no better than a muni right now. Greens spores galore, painted fairways.
Staff and ambassadors always friendly
Great and beautiful course! Would definitely play here again!
Paper thin carpet fairways, but not bad at all since most of my balls took a great roll. Greens were good. Pace of play was great, tee'd off at 1:30, finished in just over 4 hours right at sunset. Love the course!
Second try… same result
As stated in the title this was the second time I have played this course. The first time I played was summer last year.
The price is waaaaaay too high (this course should be about $60-$80) This course is no where as nice as Half Moon Bay BUT they charge the same price.
The course conditions were horrible. Tee boxes need help, some of the greens need a lot of help since they are diseased and there needs to be rough on the fairways. How is it that on hole 11 when you hit a straight drive down the middle the ball rolls off the fairway into a penalty area??? Golf is hard enough, the patrons shouldn’t be punished even more by not having some sort of rough or something to stop this from happening.
Pin placement on hole #1 was in the front on the edge of a hill so if you hit it just past the hole the ball rolled off into the fairway.
The fringe of the greens was recently aerated so basically there was no fringe and what was there was huge holes in the ground so it made it impossible to putt from there.
If you made it this far, I’m sorry for the long post. The short version of this is DO NOT PAY TO PLAY HERE unless they lower their prices and fix the problems listed above.
Good luck everyone and hit ‘em straight.
Golf
For 140$ you would think this would be in amazing condition. Unfortunately not the case but still a good time always golfing just heavy on the price
Great course layout, fantastic staffs
One of my favorite course around here, always in great condition and pace of play was never too slow. The challenging part for big hitters is where you want your drive to land. There are many holes you may opt for a 3 or 5 woods. Greens are perfect and rolls really true. Members get a free drinks at the snack shop.
