Coyote Hills
The best kept secret in Orange County. This Payne Stewart designed course lays throughout canyons and various slopes of the land. Very well maintained and always improving the grounds. The staff is very friendly and helpful and never been an issue. At times play can slow down but the marshal is helpful in resolving the problem
Tricky
It’s a tricky course first time around. A good tee ball can run off the fairway and even disappear into the stuff in blind spots on several holes, so I I wanted some of those shots back. Fairways and bunkers are in good shape and the greens are soft and receptive. Hills for sure and pretty enough for a mid-range priced round. Unfortunate that you have to pay for range balls even if you’ve paid for a round. And they wouldn’t let me check in more than an hour before my tee time. I think it could all be a bit more friendly and fun.
Much better
Updated review. Last time it was aerated and unplayable. Course was in great shape. Greens were a bit soft and slow. Greens were in great shape. Tee boxes could use a little work and more sand in bunkers. Enjoyable course.
Absolute Gem of a Course
Went on my bday solo and early! No one in front of me and took my time. Lots of blind spots to hit to, but the changes in elevation, condition of the greens and fairways made it one I already can’t wait to play again.
Amazing views.
I play as a single and was paired up with three very friendly players. The tee boxes were in great shape, the fairways were fun, few holes had a lot of role to the left. Conditions of the greens are really really good this time of year rolled true every putt. I'm bringing a friend back the next time I play here.
Great golf experience
This is a beautiful golf course. It’s great for the most experienced golfer as well as for the casual less experienced golfer. I’ve played here four times now and have enjoyed it each time.
