Coyote named Windy blew in today.

First off let me say this is a beautiful facility for weddings & other parties or receptions. The course is not long by today’s standards but is very difficult if you’ve never played it before. Lucky for me we got paired up with a nice gentleman who knew the in’s & outs of this place. He saved us many shots & lots balls due to bad bounces or run off. The elevation here is serious many holes play extremely down hill & you have to play to a target. Greens, Tees & Bunkers well kept & clean. Fairways had some dry areas that needed help or had been painted green to appear okay. The working oil rigs are super cool to look at when driving from hole to hole & the water doesn’t factor in too much unless you really can’t keep it straight. THIS IS DEFINITELY NOT A COURSE FOR BEGINNERS. The snack shack is great & the pro shop is very friendly.

Terrible Customer Service

I found an online tee time for $60 and after I made the reservation, they called indicating it was a glitch in their system and they wouldn't honor the rate. They said the tee time isn't even one they offered but that I could keep it but at the rate of $110. I understand system issues happen, but for a golf course such as this to not honor a rate a customer booked on their website is a terrible way to do business. They said the issue occurred on 3 tee times but instead of doing what was right for the customer, they chose to make a few extra bucks. Terrible experience with their managers and assistant GM.

Worst course in SoCal

Fairway grass was dead and to cover it up, they painted it green. Dead grass everywhere including near the green. Layout is fun. This is more like a $30 course

Great Layout

I played the course while on vacation in SoCal. The layout of the course was amazing with some great views. The greens were mostly in good shape. The fairways were dormant as it was winter and the fairways were painted to add color. The staff was super friendly. Nice amenities with locker rooms and a driving range. Cost was steep at $150 per round, but that is due to time of year. I overall liked the course and would play it again.

Good course; target Golf

Played early December. Course was a little dry, but it's also the most dry time of year in SoCal, so understandable. Greens were in good shape, except for 1 par 5 green on the back that seems to be struggling a bit.

This is a shorter, tight course. Most players will lose a few balls here. Several par 4s call for keeping driver in the bag and playing short of a ravine. Elevation changes and forced layups make it play longer than 6500. It's a fun change of pace, but you should be aware what you're signing up for. Most golfers probably realize with it being a par 70. It is a bit unusual to go an entire front 9 with no par 5s, but again, not a big deal if you know what you're in for.

Facilities, restaurant, and clubhouse are all pretty good.

California Dreaming 2024

The course layout was nice. If it wasn’t for the early fog, it would’ve been perfect. The greens were fast, even with dew in the morning. Will definitely come back

Way to expensive

Two players with a rental was close to 400$…..

If my father in law wasn’t well off I would never play this course, 70$ to rent clubs, meanwhile Black and Gold (a better longer and nicer course in my opinion) chargers 15$ for club rentals and had a nicer range and carts.

The course was in good shape but pace of play was weird. Started us on the back no issues there but once we made the turn we were behind 4 groups…. No starter or ranger keeping pace or making sure groups weren’t stacked
