About
Westridge Golf Club is a challenging layout designed by Robert Muir Graves, a familiar name in California golf. Graves has designed many of the state's most popular courses including Boundary Oak in Walnut Creek and Quail Lodge Golf Club in Carmel. At just under 6,450 yards, Westridge G.C. is seemingly short but what it lacks in length it makes up for with more than 60 sand bunkers strategically placed alongside the narrow fairways and sloping greens. There are also some holes that offer interesting risk-reward opportunities for adventurous big hitters. The elevation changes throughout provide difficult uphill and downhill shots that will depend almost entirely on proper club selection. Water hazards also come into play on four holes. The golf course finishes with a dramatic par 5 that plays downhill against the winds to a rolling fairway and then into a fiercely protected green.

Current Course Condition is Abysmal
I have played Westridge about 5 times in the past year, and this time around was the absolute worst.
The pace of play was god awful. It took us nearly 3 hours to finish 9 holes. The funny thing is that they have a starter who makes sure that people go out to the 1st tee by time and are super professional about it, yet every tee is backed up and there are no marshalls doing anything about it on the course itself....
Westridge is a fun course with a nice layout, but unfortunately, the condition of the course is extremely bad at the moment. The greens were patchy so whenver you putted, the ball would take small hops. A lot of the fairways and rough had either patches of dirt or be wet with too much water in certain locations.
Management needs to get their act together because the state of the course is going downhill.
I wouldn't play here until playing conditions improve and it doesn't take 3 hours to finish 9 holes...

The course is just ok to play. Many fairways are bad condition.

I’ve seen it in better shape but it was still good. 49$ midweek rate brings me here
First time
The course in challenging, the angilating fairways are forgiving if leveraged. However, the greens are in terrible shape, huge patches of ead areas, the course should pony up the cash to hire an xperienced groundsmen team. The views are spectacular.
Course condition too bad
I played golf with my friends at this course. However, the condition of the course was very bad. Especially the fairways and greens were in very bad condition. All my friends were complaining.
good course and reasonable price
On 8/1, unfortunately we took 5 hours/18 holes because a party in front of us was slow. This was first time for us. It was always less than 4-4.5 hours.
Don't
Played with a friend and had my hopes up since I have not played here before... Got there an hour before to hit the range and loosen up. Range is on the right a good 300 yds from the parking lot up a hill with very limited parking at said range. So you have to lug your bar down an then up to the clubhouse. Course is in horrible condition.. From fairways to bumpy greens with bare patches. SAVE THE TROUBLE AND $$ AND GO ELSEWHERE. Can't say u weren't warned.
Long but fun
The course was fun. I liked it. It was very hot at the time we golfed so it made it a little tough since the golf course is very long but the longer the course, the funner it is. The fairways are a little patchy but overall it was very fun & a pretty good course. I would come back forsure.
