Westridge Golf Club is a challenging layout designed by Robert Muir Graves, a familiar name in California golf. Graves has designed many of the state's most popular courses including Boundary Oak in Walnut Creek and Quail Lodge Golf Club in Carmel. At just under 6,450 yards, Westridge G.C. is seemingly short but what it lacks in length it makes up for with more than 60 sand bunkers strategically placed alongside the narrow fairways and sloping greens. There are also some holes that offer interesting risk-reward opportunities for adventurous big hitters. The elevation changes throughout provide difficult uphill and downhill shots that will depend almost entirely on proper club selection. Water hazards also come into play on four holes. The golf course finishes with a dramatic par 5 that plays downhill against the winds to a rolling fairway and then into a fiercely protected green.

Now I know why it was avail to book for a Sat Time, on a Friday. Average conditions at best. Greens were slow. A tdrive right down the pipe can end up 20 yards off the fairway to the left. Whole course pulls to the north. Way to tricky. I probably wont be back.

Good Round for Sunday morning

Course was nice. I liked the pace of play. Layout is challenging and the fairways are good. Narrow but nice for a bogey player. Two items I would recommend. One is, GPS on the carts. For $65 a round, I would like to see GPS. Greens were recently punched and sand was hindering play. I know this isn’t typical but for my round today, I would give it a 1 star on the greens. I wasn’t told about them either so I was a bummer to pay full price when greens are full of holes and mirror a sand trap.

But I like this course overall.

Golf attendant has bad attitude.

Paid for round. Walk down to attendant asked for my own cart he said $25. It’s a weekday morning not busy not low on carts. 7am tee time. Go back to pro shop ask for refund and guy gives me a number to call.

Good Course

I like the course layout. Bring your game to this course, plays well for intermediate to advance golfers.

Greens are in good shape and fast. Some unusual breaks. Fairways are a little thin and somewhat dry.

Five hour round but it was a Saturday. Front holes were backed up, not as bad on the back.

Recommend this course. We’ll be back to play again.
