First Time
Played this course for the first time. Very nice layout, and definitely feels like a Ted Robinson course. Greens are tough and hole locations were difficult. Will definitely be back to conquer this course. Back 9 > Front 9.
Sweet course
Excellent course very good shape tough but fair !! Will play again for sure !
Exactly What You Expect
Well organized and well maintained. Course is interesting and played in under 4 hours on a Sunday morning. My only critique is the cart didn’t start running until 10am and the bar/restaurant wasn’t open for lunch. Definitely will play again
Playing Tustin Tanch
I thought it was a great value for an Orange County course. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The one suggestion I would make is for the course Marshalls to really get on groups that don’t fix their ball marks and rake their traps. This should be a culture in golf but it seems to be getting lost.
Thanks
April 2022
This was my first time to the course. I really enjoyed the experience from beginning to end and it firmly met all of my expectations. Most notable was that the course felt very spacious and I was not concerned about hitting any errand balls that would go into residential areas or other holes. Will definitely be back!!
Lots of water features
This is a beautiful course and was in excellent condition. Course knowledge will help my score next time. Need to be aware of water in front of some greens.
Never again on Tuesday...
when we booked we weren't warned that the greens were punch and on top of that we were behind the high school tournament it took us for ever to finished 9 holes...
1 step forward, 1 step back
Fairways are starting to get better, however the greens are getting worse. I don't know what it is about this course, but I've never been to a course where so many people don't fix their ball marks. Some of the greens are literal mine fields! Greens are fast and firm and don't hold shots very well. Fairways are firm and forgiving and good shots will get lots of roll. Layout is great. Pace of play is a crap shoot. Some days it's perfect, and other days it's 5+ hrs. Greens are scheduled for aerification at the end of the month. Hopefully all those ball marks get fixed. Love this course and its close to being great, but still doesn't quite justify the high green fees.
Where else you want to be
Golfing in perfect weather and real nice golf course, Tustin Ranch golf course that is my answer. It’s all good!
Course was great condition, I tee up at 2:20 pm and finished 18holes.
No serious warm-up is possible early Monday mornings
The driving range is closed on Monday mornings until 11am. So you can’t warm-up properly for your $100+ round. Unlike many other clubs around the world, no practice nets are here for warm-up purposes. A serious deficiency in an otherwise reasonably good club overall.
Pics of the lovely 11th hole are attached.
These greens!!
If you want a real challenge on the green, this place is for you. hole 9 and 18 , wow! hardest green I've ever seen.
Really fun course. cant wait to go back.
