Palm Beach Golf Course
About
Palm Beach Golf Course is an enjoyable par-3 course that offers a round that is as good as a championship course. It is one of the top-rated par-3 courses in the country. The innovative Paspalum turf that is used throughout the course is both drought and saltwater-tolerant, guaranteeing lush green conditions no matter what. The course has a rolling terrain, offering curves and elevations that provide scenic views of the Intracoastal Waterway and Atlantic Ocean. Almost every hole on the golf course enjoys beautiful scenery but being sandwiched between the ocean and the Intracoastal, there are treacherous breezes that can affect your game. The layout starts on the beach and then moves along the Intracoastal. The sandy dunes on the beach provide the course with some interesting challenges. It is an excellent place to hone your short game skills.

Par 3 Photo submitted by pjgolfalot on 07/07/2013
Aaaahhhhh........
This is definitely one of my favorite courses. Worth the drive for me. And enjoy the restuarant and bar. The course was in pristine condition.
Scenic Par 3 Course
This course is boarded by the Intercostal on the West & the Atlantic Ocean on the East. The course in narrow & in GREAT shape. If you play poorly you can look out at the water from almost every hole.
Great little course!
Our foursome totally enjoyed playing on this course. We were two experienced and two novice players. The length of the course and its overall condition were perfect for the novice level players. The course is well maintained and the greens fees were very affordable. We will definitely play here again if we are back in the area.
Great place
Excellent par 3. Friendly people, challenging course, beautiful backdrop. This is a gem of a course. If you don't like this place, pick up a different sport.
A Little Gem!
A beautiful course with the most exquisite views. In far better condition than most of the others played in S. Florida over the past 2 weeks!
Staff very helpful and food and beverage service in the club house afterwards was a really high standard.
Thoroughly recommend!
Great Fun
A Raymond Floyd par 3-18 hole golf course. 9 holes on the inter-coastal, 9 holes Ocean side. Pace of play was slow but moved along well enough. People of all skill levels play the course so play is at a slow pace but why would you be in a hurry on this picturesque course. One of the most beautiful courses I've ever played. This course is to be enjoyed, relax and have fun.
Par 3
Course is a lot of fun , the food up stairs over looking the ocean is excellent .
Palm Beach Par 3
Right now the greens are being tuned up so they are bumpy and slow!!! But this course is a gem and no better way to tune up your short game. The beauty is staggering and being on the ocean it will force you to consider wind and elevation.
Bucket List Par 3
When it comes to par 3 courses, this has to be on your top 10 list! The location alone, on the Atlantic Ocean, places this high on the list. The combination of both inter coastal and ocean views are phenomenal. Ray Floyd did a wonderful job with this venue. The clubhouse offers really good food with spectacular views. .
Great Scenery, Average Golf.
Let me start by saying that I am not a huge fan of par 3 golf courses. Especially one that charges me as much as a full course to play. On the plus side it doesn't take a lot of time to play and the scenery was better than I expected. My first word of warning is to leave early because this course is located on a road with a 35 mph speed limit and if you are not staying in one of the estates located on this road it will take you a while to get there. I was late due to not knowing this and the starter did not seem happy about it even though they weren't busy. It appears that they have spent a lot of time and money on the restaurant and not much on the rest of the facilities. The cart I was in looked like it might rust apart while on the course. The greens are slow, not a little extra growth slow, but "I think I should have hit my driver there" slow. I don't know grass and this may be the way it is suppose to play but I have never seen greens this slow in all of my travels. There are some 190-200 yard holes from the tips but this is still a par 3 and most holes are 110-125 on average. Nice to play next to the ocean but I probably won't go back. If you want to hit a ball into the ocean this is the place to play but with so many nice full courses in the area for the about the same price I wouldn't recommend it if it's the only course you will get to play while on vacation here.
Beautiful Par 3 Course on the Ocean
This scenic par 3 course is situated on Palm Beach island stretching from the ocean to the inter-coastal waterway, providing beautiful views. Many of the holes have water. vegetation, or both, bordering the holes and' with the ever present wind, it can make some scary tee shots.
A charming new club house was recently built which apparently resulted in re routing the holes. As a result, our GPS systems had difficulty finding the correct hole. We resorted the to the walking off the yardage, not a bad thing.
Additional comments:
- Greens are paspalum, good but they are very slow
- Pace of play is slow due to a lot of beginners
- Price is no bargain since for a few dollars more you can play some fine regulation courses in the area.
But you can't beat the views!
Very nice course. 'A Must' to practice your short game.
This course has it all. Water, sand, challenges all along the way. What I like is the ability to make the course even shorter by playing from the Blues, instead of the Black tee boxes. This make the course even more difficult because you have to pull back on your 'drive.'
Highly recommend. I will be back.
Great in all respects.. Wonderful food etc. go in Summer for great rates.
Greatgolf course for a par 3
Go in summer for great rates
Pictures Don't do it Justice!
Friendly staff, greens and tee boxes are solid, and you really can't beat views of the Atlantic like this anywhere else in South Florida.
Beautiful Course
It was a Great time had by all and we will be back
Great Place for Fast Round
This is a great, well kept course, with part facing the ocean, and part facing the Intracoastal. Leave your driver and woods home. The course affords an opportunity to work with your irons and putter. The par 3 nature of the course makes for a roughly 2 hour round.
The clubhouse is new and Al Fresco Restaurant, on the upper level, is first class. The food is great, as is the view of the ocean and golf course.
Course was nice
Very disappointed in the restaurant. They forgot about us and just left us sitting there for 15 min and it was pretty empty The golf course was nice although the pins hadn't been changed for a while and greens were very hairy
great little course
Great little course was a little pricey but was well maintained.Awesome for working on your short game.Best scenery for a golf course with most holes being just off the beach or intercoastal even on a hot day nice breeze from ocean.Staff was amazing would wait to get a good deal or afternoon rate.
Why play anywhere else?
For me, there is no more enjoyable experience in golf. Beautiful surroundings, putting with the roar of the ocean in the background, top-shelf facilities and conditions, beautiful greens that are challenging yet fair, a relaxed, laid-back atmosphere....Palm Beach Par 3 has it all, and you are not there all day (unless you want to be).
Great course to work on your irons.
Arrived early and played as a single - hitting two balls.
Played in less then 2 1/2 hours.Course was in outstanding condition. All 18 greens were perfect.Did not try the food. Will play again
