Cimarron Golf Club - Boulder Course

This course was wide open, played as a single in 2&1/2 hours, only going through 1 group ahead. Course conditions as expected a bit dry, greens mostly fast and hard. If you play here, read the scorecard for the local rule that states any ball hit into the wash, take a free drop on nearest grass 2 club lengths no penalty. Always use rules to your advantage. No wind on this day. Not bad. I’ve played all over the valley and would play here again.

This place needs an update....layout is just back and forth...trash around everywhere....total dumping ground.....I was told this is what you get for $50 in Palm Springs! needs total makeover and $$$ investment....took 2.5 hrs to play 9 holes...go somewhere else. will not be back

I have tried this course 5 times now and have never had a good experience. You're either playing a 6 hr round because they allow too many players on the course, or you're playing total wind ball.

Enjoyed the course. A bit dry, but that's to be expected at this time of year. Greens were great and rolled perfect.

The greens were punched and the fairways had not been recently mowed.

The Boulder course is challenging and well maintained. We were able to complete our afternoon round (2 of us) in 4 hours. We never experienced a slow down and we were never rushed. There is a nice clubhouse that serves a nice lunch. There is absolutely no shade on the course. Better apply a thick layer of sunscreen.

Staff was great, even got to do a few holes with the head pro, Styles, very nice guy. Course was in pretty good condition and the greens were good as well, maybe a little dry though, but still good.

My wife road around with me for free, as it wasn’t that busy and she wasn’t taking a seat from a golfer, nice deal.

The waiter in the lounge was very nice as well, had a couple sandwiches and glasses of wine, all very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this course.

This course has gone thru some significant damage in the last few years, so from that standpoint the fairways and rough are in good shape. The conditions of the greens are another story. They are inconsistent, are not in good shape and are very bumpy. I would not recommend this course unless you are able to secure a price below their regular rates.

I loved playing this course. Thescenery is amazing and the course was in great condition. It was very windy...especially during the front 9. I dont know if that is stsndard conditions. I highly recommend this course.

Arrived 1 hour before tee time, no carts, maybe 15 people waiting. . Walk to range (long walk), walk back, still no carts. Get cart 4 minutes prior to time. 4th hole, homeless camp, under the bridge, woman comes and steals brand new driver from cart, runs off into desert. Wind was blowing 40 mph. Beer after was good though.
