Typical Executive Course
Played with my fiancé (who is pretty new to golf) & had a real nice time. Perfect style of course for couples golf, nothing extreme or too difficult. The front 9 actually plays to a par of 34 which was a pleasant surprise; I was expecting hit irons all days from the tees.
The tee boxes were pretty chewed up as were a few greens but all in all a nice layout with very little hazards.
I would recommend it… but if you are looking for beautiful scenery and a challenging course, this is not it.
Beautiful
We play this coarse every year and we’re thrilled to be back.
The new facilities are great. Look forward to enjoying a light meal
after a future round. Will be back.
Old and Tired
I love golf and thought this would be a great track to work on my short game.
Truth is the layout is fine and those greens that were not burnt or scorched did run true.
Problem here is that it seems that this course is on its way out soon to become
a new subdivision
No care for this course and the tee boxes are like playing on a an uneven beach.
This short course has seen its day
In all fairness we only paid $25 for the road with cart so I guess you get what you
pay for
Sandy Boxes
Tee and Greens Sandy. Layout pretty straightforward. Greens could be fun and challenging if they were maintained.
Colony West Glades
The course could be fun, especially for the weekend golfer but it is so poorly maintained that it’s hardly worth it.
The tee boxes are sandboxes and mbY of the greens are poorly maintained.
The staff is super friendly and the price is cheap.
Have played this course several times and find it suitable for the needs of my wife and I. The course can use much needed TLC, however, we still enjoy playing here. Recommended for golfers who just love to play and are not fussy about course conditions
Good course for a beginner or someone on a budget.
In need of serious repair
Played the Glades course. Tee boxes on many holes was mostly dirt. Several times to put my ball on grass on the tee box, the ball was BELOW my feet! Fairways were 50/50 grass and weeds. Around the greens were weeds and dirt. I think you get the picture….. I didn’t realize I could upload pictures as this is my first review. Unfortunately I won’t be back to show proof
