Glades course a no-go, the championship course is much better
First time playing the glades course, there are no cart paths, very poor hole signage, most tee sign yardage off by 20-40 yards. I have never played a course this muddy, and the greens were the softest I have ever dealt with. There are no restrooms, along the entire 18. The course is in bad shape for what they are charging, maybe $10-$15 would be fair.
If you can find a good deal the championship course is much nicer to play but still only when you can get a deal around $25 or so, definitely not worth the $40 they try to charge.
Average Course for a quick Round
Course is a good executive for a cheaper price, but with more par 4's. There are a few moments where the course conditions impede on your ability to assess a shot and have confidence that it will go somewhat as planned.

The greens are not in great shape
Greens are not in good shape on most holes. Also didn’t help they were punched and soggy from rain. Price is a little steep for those conditions.

Used to be great butttt
Great layout friendly staff but they have really let this course go over the last year . The fairways are god awful patches everywhere and geese and geese poop all over them constantly stepping in it. The worst part are the greens they are literally sand boxes . I hope when the new clubhouse opens they focus on the upkeep because the course used to be in amazing shape not dead grass and sand everywhere . Price should be lowered for this course championship course is great except the tee boxes are pure dirt. Def lower the price on the glades until It’s redone please

Poor course conditions
The tees were terrible, completely dead grass, no effort at all to maintain their greens. Very disappointed, we didn’t pay a lot but for a course charging average prices not good greens at all. I would recommend going to another course because this one will have you going nuts due to bad field conditions.
Coarse is in HORRIBLE condition
I've played Colony West since I was a young man. I played the Championship course this morning. The tee boxes are nothing but dirt! The bunkers are in worse shape. The greens are like putting on rubber. Forget reading them, the ball is slowed down by the terribly cut greens. I'm sorry to leave such a bad review, but to charge $42 for a coarse in such disrepair is a rip-off. It's at best an $18 round. Woodmont is the same price and has a much better maintained coarse. In fact, there are many other courses in much better condition. My advice to the Owner is to shut down for a couple months and re-do all the tee boxes, greens, and bunkers.
Longer Executive Course - Good Value
A pleasant longer Executive Course, Colony West Glades is good value for the Fee charged. Greens are in good condition making play fun.
Always busy!
We play this club often both coarses. Always busy and a little confusing due to construction but always
well organized. A few slow downs due to volume but overall good value. We will continue to play at this
club. The Glads is a nice coarse to bring guests who have not played in awhile a little easier in spots.
Poor course condition but amazing value
The course itself needs a lot of work, all bunkers are overgrown, fairways have many weeds and a few greens had repairs in progress, but and its a big but, for 27 dollars including the buggy what can you expect? A new clubhouse is under construction and the portacabin offices and restricted space for buggies makes the booking in process a bit chaotic but you cannot knock the value for money. think of it more as a big pitch and put course for easy going fun.
A nice surprise!
I booked on the Glades course and actually was sent to play the Championship course because the Glades was so full. It was either that or the starter made an error, but whatever the reason it was appreciated. I booked as a single and was paired up with another single to make a twosome. The courses were very crowded as it was a super day for golf weather wise. Sun was out with a light breeze, and the course was in pretty good shape. Greens were a little firm but true and a bit speedy. Fairways and tees in ok condition with a few bare spots. The round ended up being right at 4 hours after we played through two groups. Unseasonably warmer than normal for early March. It was a good round and a better value. Thanks for the surprise today.. I will be back because it’s always a fun day out at Colony West, no matter which course you play. Construction of the new clubhouse and hotel still going on but the courses remain open. Staff was super friendly as usual. Thanks again.
Good around!
Very busy but well organized. No slow downs decent conditions.
Will go back great coarse to bring new players or guests who have
not played in awhile.
Still a little wet out there
It was still a little wet out there in some areas from recent rains. Seems the course would rope some areas off to keep carts from destroying those spots but they didn’t. Course overall I’m pretty good shape except a couple tee boxes were a bit bare and some work being done on a few greens with dead spots. Played pretty good so I can’t complain. Staff always is accommodating and helpful. Pace was good at 3.25 hours on a par 64 course.
