Resort at Tahquitz Creek Golf Resort

I played the Resort course for the first time this year. The starter (Jack) was grumpy and unwilling to work with me as a single. I like playing with people and he would not pair me up with any other groups who needed to fill out their 4some. The course was in pretty good shape for this time of year (coming out of overseed). The sand traps were some of the best I have seen in the area. However there was a 2-5 minute wait on almost every tee box. Jack went out on the course and did NOTHING to speed play up. Someone needs to find him a different job.

Good course to warm up your game if it’s been a while.

Played the Resort course. The course condidions were good, greens were in good shape. The pace of play was better than anticiated. We were able to finish 18 holes with a 1:30 tee time, surprising for late November, despite a relatively full course in front of us. I will return for rounds here on future stays in the area.

No marshalls on the course to speed up play…our round was 5 hours. Waiting on every hole.

The course is in great condition and we got a hot deal so it was well worth .

Visiting Palm Springs over the Thanksgiving Holiday and secured a tee time for Pebble Course via GolfNow…first couple of holes were nice but the course kicked it up a notch from 4 on….challenging, well tended to, decent pace of play even for the Holiday time, hole 7 is epic… go forth and enjoy!!

This was a very nice course to play. The layout was challenging. Would definitely play it again.

OK - here are the negatives. First few holes you will notice some tents off to the left, probably a couple of shopping carts. There may be some sketchy characters hanging around holes 1-3, although we didn’t see any today. We only found one working water fountain on course, use cart key to use restrooms and bring water or wait for cart girl.

We play here a lot and like it. Overall good conditions. It’s an interesting layout, some beautiful and challenging holes. If you get a discount round it is well worth the cost. Staff we found friendly and helpful. Marshall and cart girl came by several times.

Since there are a lot of bike riders, hikers, dog walkers etc. on some of the public paths right next to the course I would probably not leave my cell phone lying on the seat with the cart out of sight - but we have played many rounds here and never had any problems.

We had to hustle to get our round finished when we were behind a super slow 4 some to start .
