Resort at Tahquitz Creek Golf Resort

Course about completely deserted when went off at 1.30pm with a few intermittent showers.....quite a bit of casual water on many holes but greens in good shape and all going well until on 12th hole when a cyclone arrived with severe winds and rain rendering the course impossible to continue. Returned to clubhouse to find bar/restaurant closed with one staff member in the pro shop and only 2 golfers spotted - finished after 7 holes at same time as our twosome.

Would love to have finished the round but totally unplayable and facilities closed down so no warming drink available back at the clubhouse.

This is not a horrible golf course as far as course conditions go, it is slightly better than your average municipal golf course. However I have never spent this amount of golf and felt so underwhelmed in the experience. On top on this many homeless live right along the golf course so I saw one in the parking lot looking in each car for the potential smash and grab. Also some of the locals advised me to keep any valuables out of site in the golf cart due to more homeless that ride bicycles along the bike/cart path grab your valuables and take off when you are not watching.

Course in great condition. Definitely will be back.

Resort course is in excellent shape from tee box to green. There is water and a # of sand traps to contend with making it a moderately challenging course for all levels. Recommend this course.

Course layout is good. The course is decent, but tired. Little to no markings on course or help with scorecards or directions. Play was five hours. There is better out there

Tahquitz Resort course was a fun layout. Got a good deal on golf now booking 30 days out. Conditions were good overall and the greens ran true. A few homeless in the wasteland along a few holes but no issues that we encountered. The driving range could use some love too. I would definitely play it again.

Had a great time playing this course. Because of an earlier tournament, golf carts were not readily avail e to use until just before tee time. Pace of play after 7th hole was pretty slow. Course was in good condition. Fairway conditions adjacent to greens was a bit ragged, as was the sand traps.

Really enjoyed the layout and surroundings.

Greens were a little bumpy and slow.

Fairways were thin but seems to be common in this area.

The check in person was rude and not helpful. Had to ask for even basic information. A shortage of golf carts caused a confused start. The course borders on a homeless area with homeless people walking and riding bikes on the course. Additionally a recreational trail surrounds the course with many walkers and bikers intersecting with golf carts. In many areas there are dangerous potential collision areas. The fairway bunkers have no sand in them. The greens are slow and fairways not fully filled in. The price on GolfNow is not the best price and the prices charged are too expensive for this low end course.

Always a pleasure to golf this course (Resort) lots of different looks on most of the holes makes you think. Shall be back

For the price paid, I expected a better value for the money, golf carts with no windshield on an outdated EZGO TXT that needed tires. No tees or towels in the cart. Would consider this a tier 3 course. People waited for carts when we finished so they could play that day. Also, homeless people living in washed-out areas distracting golfers.

Had a run in twice during our round with homeless coming onto the course with the intent to steal our belongs from our bags. Very scary encounters as they are extremely aggressive in their actions & words.
