Resort at Tahquitz Creek Golf Resort

Arrived at 12.30 for 1.30 tee time total chaos no carts available waited until 2pm 1.10 tee time still waiting still no carts. Spoke to a party who played earlier, and they stated their round was 5 hours. We decided to leave and I hope the club has the decency to apologise to all pm players and refund our green fee to a local charity.

I enjoy this course but the homeless problem has taken over. during my round there were no less than 10 homeless people crossing over the fairways walking down the cart path bicycling meddling around aimlessly not a golf course I would Not recommend while the homeless population plays through “

Course was in good shape...fairways, bunkers, rolling greens.

Even mountain snow melt coming through. added addition.

Homeless all over the first 4 holes, had to protect your belongings. No grass to hit off of on the range or first 9 holes. Could be nice but tremendously overpriced. Maybe back in the day????

Love playing this course but they need to have a Marshall on course the foursome ahead of us we’re playing some kind game and we’re so slow they had finished playing the hole and we chipped on and finished putting and they had not even started to tee off on a par three and no one ahead of them so we passed them and could not catch the group ahead of us. No golf etiquette at all

This was my first time playing Tahquitz. I do not recommend this course. Out tee time was delayed by over a half hour because they did not have carts available (after playing hundreds of rounds, never experienced this). This resulted in us not being able to finish our round due to darkness. The starter was not helpful. Also had issues with people waking on the course that were not playing. Overall not a good experience. Plenty of better options in the Palm Springs area.

Overall, the course was very good. Generous fairways, but you can still get in trouble with an errant tee shot. The par threes were a challenge in the greens were in excellent shape. The staff was friendly and helpful and the weather was perfect. If you’re in the area, this course is worth the money.

Course is in good shape and fun to play. Disappointed with mediocre service…driving range maintenance scheduled for the middle of the busiest part of the day. Just by luck it opened again before our tee time. Staff seem grumpy and overworked. The worst part was getting a power cart…maybe you will and maybe you won’t. It’ comes down to seconds before your tee time and then you are jockeying with others to get a cart. No way to run a business.

Homeless men on the course several times, no Marshal to be seen ! Com on Man!

Homeless guys in the fairways, homeless guys on the cart path 🛒… homeless camp on fairway 3, 4 , 5. Be ready to brawl here 👊🏻!

I have played Tahquitz for many years and this year has been the worst ! homeless people crossing the fairways and trash and debris on the course, also a new residential population of homeless popped up on the left side of 4,5 and 6 the homeless residence will be glad to speak with you if you do not ask them to.

They booked a 68 person tournament for a Saturday morning....and they played a 5.5 HR round. Our 1pm time was 40 minutes late and our golf cart died with 5 holes to play.
