Hawk's Landing Golf Club

Was told that it was too short and that may be true for the bombers. But unless you’re a 290 yard carry golfer you can find a set of tees that suits your game. Has a few quirky holes but overall it was a fun test of golf. The finishing hole is a par 3 which is not ideal but it is an island green that was a true test from the back tees. Would definitely play it again.

Greens were in excellent shape. Overall agronomy was good. No waiting to play next hole. Green fees were less than expected using Bon Voy cc from Marriot.

Was in Orlando for a conference at the Marriott property the course is on. Staff was very friendly, the pro shop was well stocked, and driving range was adequate (mats and free balls).

Course was in really good shape and greens were pure. This is not a very long course (a believe just shy of 6,000 yards), but has plenty of challenges and water.

Pace of play was slow, which is always a challenge, but not unbearable.

Would play it again.

An overall nice course. There are a few challenging holes over water, so beginners would not do well here. Would play it again.

I'm a bit unsure where to begin. The ranger was a bit of a clown in his unprofessional nature and tone as it related to providing guidance based on inaccurate information from his team. The tee box placements were inconsistent with the starter's reporting. It seems like the left hand doesn't know what the right doing over there.

At least half of the greens in the back 9 were stained with machinery oil and the reality is when you're paying the price being charged, you're looking for conditions that don't look like the superintendent school-aged child managed them. Which brings me to my next point: hole replacement management was as unsatisfactory as the 9-hole chicken farm in course in rural America. How can you justify 3-8 (depending in the hole itself) old holes encircling the new hole itself. Timing anyone? And into the next point....the crowns on the holes created a push away from the hole such that a decent golfer's read of a the whole rendered a loss of a stroke.

Don't waste your money.

I had nine pars and still shot over 90 it is a tough track and you can easily shoot a big score But I have played it a number of times and never played to my handicap ( 15 ) water in I think 15 holes and it plays long But great fun Every hole is interesting

Greens and fairways were perfect. Greens were fast and roll true. Expensive. But great and had a good time.
