Mission Hills - Gary Player Course

The course is showing signs of wear and is somewhat lacking in maintenance. The layout of the course is nice. Pace was slow due to one couple but otherwise the course was not busy.

Course was in very good shape. Fairways lush and greens rolling true. It was suggested that we putt to the cup and not worry about the break. That was good advice. A very good experience and we will return.

The overseeded areas are great, but far too small of an area around the greens. There is a lot of mounding on the course, around the greens and on the fairway none of which has been overseeded. Tire ruts, large totally bald areas, gouges in the mounds from water runoff brush cut down and left in the rough, really poor conditions when you wander off the fairway or the very small overseed areas around the green.

Course needs some tlc. To be clear the greens and fairways are great, the rest of the course is really rough and needs work.

Course is in excellent condition. Groups moved at good pace. Greens roll true.

Good speed of play. Course was in excellent condition. Course was a little long for my skills. Will need to play one of the combo tees next time I play

Course in great shape, however tee time was 12:40 and finished in the dark, approximately 4 hours and 15 minutes. Waited on every hole for the 2 groups in front of us.

Very good greens fast but good, last time I play was in better conditions still a great course
