good course horrible pace

The course was is great shape for early October and for the summer heat that hit the valley. However the pace of play was incredibly especially slow for the heat and they was not attempt to help rectify.

However I loved the of the course.

So so slow

My entire 4 some left after 13 holes because of slow play, 3 groups on 1 hole, no course Marshalls to help improve slow play.

Loved this course!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The course is very fair with large open fairways. The par threes are very fair at only 165 to 130 from the whites. Nice GPS on the carts. Also very beautiful surroundings and landscaping. Several water stations and notification when you are arriving with a ding ding from the GPS.

Worth the Money

I found this to be an interesting and challenging layout. The design makes very good use of the available real estate and has a lot of interest. Generally I thought the course was in good condition, particularly given the time of year. There were some small spots with no grass but overall the course conditions were great!

Great course for the $$$

I used the hot deal and played a round for $35. I couldn’t hit a fairway to save my life, but that’s not Mission Hills fault. This place hit all the right spots though, water coolers every few holes, GPS in the carts, free range balls included in your round and the starter even let me play earlier as a single before the sun got too hot. I would highly recommend this course at the price point they have it set at. I don’t remember seeing a cart girl, but the temp got to 110 so alcohol was not in my future anyways.

Pace of play was awful.

We got placed behind a group with 2 walkers and waited on every tee. Greater than 4:45 to finish our round.

Not worth the $

We paid $89 and it was not worth it. Fairways were ok but the greens were not in very good shape. Not signature!

Go play Eagle Falls or Indian Canyons instead! Much less $ and beautiful golf courses! You’ll get your moneys worth at these 2 courses for sure.

A true golfer's course

One of the best tracks in the Coachella valley. Staff is great, reasonable rates, wonderful practice facilities, etc. Also love the "true golfer" vibe here.. not a "resort" course or a pretentious "private country club" type place. Simply a great track that provides a wonderful golfing experience.

Very nice course and staff...self-privileged members

We had a beautiful day for a relaxing round on a great course. Unfortunately, a twosome of members took every opportunity to play as slowly as possible despite having five groups backed up behind them. I discussed it with the pro shop staff, and the member was familiar to him. The club should strongly discourage that kind of play as we had 12 patrons waiting in frustration on every shot.
