Mission Hills - Gary Player Course

In nice shape considering it had come out of overseed only 2 / 3 weeks ago

The staff was awesome, but the pace of play was really slow. It took about 25 minutes per hole. We gave up after 3 holes. Couldn’t play through, no one could. Staff was friendly and gave us a full refund.

One of my favorite courses in the Palm Springs area. This time I brought a friend who thought it was very special and enjoyed it.

Very beautiful golf course. Fairways and roughs were in excellent condition. Greens were firm and a little slow and possibly punched not too long ago. Lots of hazards to avoid but not too hard to get out of trouble. Unfortunately they were watering the driving range and practice green so I couldn’t warm up properly which led to more miss hits and bad putts than usual. I did love the course though.

fairways are coming in very nicely and will be great in a week or so.

the greens were SLOW - could not hit the ball hard enough, i suspect they will also be good in another week or so.

Have played here in summer time course in great shape love the par 3's challenging and great designs a must play when in area.

Course was as good as expected after the storm here in the valley . Everyone is late getting courses in shape

Nice layout, open, very playable. Greens were slow, but just opening after overseeding. Scenery was great.

I have played Mission Hills North several times and have always enjoyed my rounds. My scores have varied, but always +/- 4-5 strokes from my handicap, showing course is able to be "got" some rounds, or it can "get" on others.

Current conditions are the greens are very slow, as I have found for other course on this trip, making reads more difficult.

Greens, fairways, rough, all in very good condition.

The green was little slow buy all consistent.

It was supposed to be the cart path only that we know about it through online. They let us drive cart only on the rough area so we kept our cart on the border line to the nice fairway.

Since I had bad knee problem for walking too long, the course decision helped us A LOT that we did not have to walk across the wide fairway with multiple clubs. The weather was high 70's, the pace was perfect. The view of the ponds with flower trimmed edges were very pretty.

The rate was very reasonable due to the "just opened up from the aeration".

The other courses in Palm Desert charged full rate ($180's) even though they are still car-path only condition.

We'll be back again!

Greens very slow and not at smooth. Could be the incoming turf conditions.
