Lely Resort Golf & Country Club - Flamingo Island Course

The receptionist was acting very unfriendly and careless.

The venue is very nice and a shame one person can destroy your reputation

Couple of the greens were being worked on, but only the very edge. Other than that, nice!

Course well laid out Tee boxes rough shape. Fairways pretty good. Greens roll nice Overall a nice round

Flamingo course. First tee time out, played in 2 hours. Greens were in good shape for July. Lots of bunkers make it challenging and lots of strategy to the course that you will learn after a couple rounds.

I really wanted to like Lely. It is a pretty course with interestingly shaped holes, sand traps galore and lightning-fast greens. Problem is I found myself playing around groundskeepers and resort workers mowing the rough, blowing out sand traps, trimming greens, tending trees — work carts and tractors were everywhere and kept getting in the way all day long. Noisy too. Add to that sprinklers going the 15th and 18th greens and the driving range closed for cleanup and it felt like I was golfing on a construction site. A distracting round on an otherwise likeable course.

Nice course, good condition.......still too expensive......PERIOD!

Beautiful day for golf, pace of play was slow, no ranger to push people.

Too much money.....especially at $189 for this track! Would not recommend at this price. $100 should be tops.

Over the years the Flamingo course has gone downhill. All of the rough areas are in poor shape.

The grass has really deteriorated.

Due to yesterdays rain we had to play Flamingo walking into the fairways from cart path, which was never close by. Course is very interesting, Bit playing like this is not really funny.

All about the $$$ for American Golf. Rude staff, marginal conditions for this time of year, high priceed green fees, poor beverage service, etc. Cut corners every step of the way.. These courses have an upside, but not when managed by these money mongers. Try Troon or any of the other many managers that get customer service... WEAK!!!
