Lely Resort Golf & Country Club - Flamingo Island Course

Good range of tee positions for all skill levels.

Variety of challenges on most holes, bunkers, water hzds, elevation changes.

I usually love playing these courses. I thought mustang fairway was a little beat up. Course not in best shape. First time in about 20 plays. I will try again.

This was second time, that I had played the course, and if anything, the layout was better than I had remembered before. The pace of play was vg, but that was partly due to course being relatively quiet. The three of us managed round in 3.75hrs, and this from a combination of back and forward tees. Course condition was tidy, but greens were only average. Second nine holes definitely better than front nine. Practice facilities fine, and staff very friendly. We had a vg deal, paying only around $40, so represented good value at that price. At normal rates of around $90+, it would then become more marginal.

Overall, however, this is a course worthy of a visit.

Course was in decent condition, fairways a little ragged but overall good shape ,greens were great. Good layout , enjoyed my round..

Great course with quick pace of play. Greens are best I have played in Florida with speed. Cart girl came around frequently as it was hot I would love to play this course again

Since it's off season, we got a great price. Course a little soggy in some places but overall in great shape. My wife and I played in 3hrs. 15min.

very good shape, greens rolled true, friendly staff, great restaurant and bar, played late in the day and did not see a drink cart the whole round, a little pricey for the area but not run over by amateurs or walker which is nice, pace of play good on front 9 bad on back 9 no rangers to move things along

Tee boxes not in good shape fairways not in good shape. Greens rolled true. For 35 still a great bargain if they. Expect to get seasonal rates they had better work on course.

The staff is very friendly and the play was quick

Mother Nature can really wreak havoc on a golf course, so I don't fault Lely when their lakes begin to encroach onto the fairways and greens. Needless to say it was cart path only for our round. Still the course held up rather well all things considered. The staff advised us immediately upon our arrival of the conditions which I really respected, instead of waiting until we had paid and then springing it on us. All in all it was a really good round and I would definitely go back and play the course again.

I actually booked the Mustang course but check in person allowed us to play this course instead when I told him I actually preferred to try this course. Well stocked pro shop inside a huge resort clubhouse. Ice & water station by the club house. Nice practice range/area. Battery powered carts w/ windshield & rain cover in back, & has GPS also. Gorgeous tee boxes, fairways, & bunkers. Was told greens recently punched & sanded but saw no evidence of it & they rolled fast.

Th course had been airrated but still ok ..the desk check in Gary was ok he could be more welcoming ...but ok ...the cart attendant was "GREAT" in the many, many years of playing Lely DAVE(an older man) was very helpful i.e. he is the first attendant to say to me "TAKE THE CART " it's easier to get to the pro shop ...after the round he actually cleaned my clubs the last time I played Lely about 5 days ago their was an older tall attendent how missed my sand wedge ..9 iron and did't put my driver head cover on and left it in the cart basket ...I realized it only 2 days lter and had to go back to the course and ask if it was in the lost and found and there it was....I had given the attendant a$5. tip....his service was not worth it...I am in a customer relationship job on a boat and KNOW good and bad service... I'm not being picky but truthful.....

I have played this course several times. It is impossible to get a drink or sandwich on the course. Course conditions where a little dry but given the time of year things where pretty good

Signed up for the flamingo course but staff talked me into mustang course. Had a great time. Afternoon rates were great.

Been playing lely courses for 25years. Absolutely worst conditions I seen tee boxes, fairways, run extremely poor condition. Greens were fair condition. Cost to play excessive based on conditions. Cost always high time of year but based on condition of course absolutely ridiculous

great track and for a sunday midday, the pace was excellent

Rangers need to improve pace of play ..Rangers were invisible if are all there ..we came up to 18 and a couple parked their cart on the green while putting!!!!! No kidding first in my years of golfing! Course was in wonderful winter conditions esp greens...layout was pga level

The Lely Flamingo course has a good blend of challenges. Greens well guarded, lots of sand and water.
Greens rolled fast but good. could not sink a putt, but that was my problem.
Practice amenities very good and convenient.
