Lely Resort Golf & Country Club - Flamingo Island Course

We played here several times. Great condition, beautiful landscaping, very fair course. Good bloody marys too!

Excellent greens, fairways very good. Starter and backshop staff also good. Reception was fair. Too late to stay for lunch on this occasion, previous experience was good.

Nice course, not too narrow fairways but if wander off, you can throw up some big numbers. Small greens but they are fair, a well manicured course. We played in a high wind, so it wasn't crowded. Really nice pace of play. Would definitely play here again.

Nothing to complain about nor was there a "Wow" factor.

I showed up an hour early and specifically purchased the Robert Trent Jones course. I was moved to the lesser course because the starter felt it necessary and against my will as I was a single with no group. The rental clubs were $50 and I honestly wouldn't have bought the whole set for that. Looked like children had been hitting rocks with them. Mismatched set with weak shafts were all that was available. The 5 iron was two inches shorter than the the 8, which I noticed after hitting the 5i 20 yards short. Course condition was ok. I really didn't want to play the course they stuck me on. Disappointed honestly.

great experience from check in, range time, tee time and playing partners. Pace was under 4 hours at 7 am, greens were lighting fast, tee decks and surrounds also in great condition. Looking forward to playing again.

Played Flamingo. Good course but from time to time a bit boring. One cannot say bad things about it but there is also no wow about it. Expected a bit more from Robert Trent Jones design. However, better then Mustang.

We absolutely enjoyed our Christmas round of golf on the Flamingo course at Lely Resort. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The course was in good condition and very playable. The greens were in great shape but not overly fast. Maybe a little over-priced, but probably in line with the quality of the course and the Naples area.

We played this for the first time and for the rate we paid were neither disappointed nor pleased. The course is in average condition with numerous bunkers but few water hazards when played from the front tees. If we had paid the normal rate, we would have been disappointed in the condition of the course. Very friendly staff however! Did not use the dining facilities.

Good public course, excellent range and short game areas. Straightforward layout, very playable.
I played with my wife and we were paired with another twosome. I'm a 10 handicap and like to play fast, so the five hour round waiting on most shots was the biggest negative. Despite that, I'll play again.

The course was overseeded with heavy rain the night before Thus Cart path only. The GPS sytem worked but was not helpful beacuse of Cartpath only. Greens were fast and in good shape. Very nice playing course.

This is a great course, challenging, but not so much so that you cannot score well. The starter sent three twosomes out behind us, kind of crazy, should have paired two of them up together.

Great layout. Over all very nice course. A must if you are in the area.

Real nice course. Built in GPS on carts. Very hot but water coolers every 2 holes.

The layout from the champions tees is difficult and a worthy challenge. However for the price the tee boxes were in below average shape and the greens were extremely sandy

Played both the Mustang and Flamingo at Lely and they were fantastic, but if you are only playing one choose the Flamingo. Lay out is challenging and spectacular.

Had a pleasant round on the Flamingo course. It was VERY wet and cart path only. That said, we had an enjoyable time. As my title suggests, thanks to GolfNow we got good value.
