Lely Resort Golf & Country Club - Flamingo Island Course

great experience from check in, range time, tee time and playing partners. Pace was under 4 hours at 7 am, greens were lighting fast, tee decks and surrounds also in great condition. Looking forward to playing again.

Played Flamingo. Good course but from time to time a bit boring. One cannot say bad things about it but there is also no wow about it. Expected a bit more from Robert Trent Jones design. However, better then Mustang.

We absolutely enjoyed our Christmas round of golf on the Flamingo course at Lely Resort. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The course was in good condition and very playable. The greens were in great shape but not overly fast. Maybe a little over-priced, but probably in line with the quality of the course and the Naples area.

We played this for the first time and for the rate we paid were neither disappointed nor pleased. The course is in average condition with numerous bunkers but few water hazards when played from the front tees. If we had paid the normal rate, we would have been disappointed in the condition of the course. Very friendly staff however! Did not use the dining facilities.

Good public course, excellent range and short game areas. Straightforward layout, very playable.
I played with my wife and we were paired with another twosome. I'm a 10 handicap and like to play fast, so the five hour round waiting on most shots was the biggest negative. Despite that, I'll play again.

The course was overseeded with heavy rain the night before Thus Cart path only. The GPS sytem worked but was not helpful beacuse of Cartpath only. Greens were fast and in good shape. Very nice playing course.

This is a great course, challenging, but not so much so that you cannot score well. The starter sent three twosomes out behind us, kind of crazy, should have paired two of them up together.

Great layout. Over all very nice course. A must if you are in the area.

Real nice course. Built in GPS on carts. Very hot but water coolers every 2 holes.

The layout from the champions tees is difficult and a worthy challenge. However for the price the tee boxes were in below average shape and the greens were extremely sandy

There were a lot of hills and sand the golf carts are very nice and clean

Played both the Mustang and Flamingo at Lely and they were fantastic, but if you are only playing one choose the Flamingo. Lay out is challenging and spectacular.

Had a pleasant round on the Flamingo course. It was VERY wet and cart path only. That said, we had an enjoyable time. As my title suggests, thanks to GolfNow we got good value.

I had only visited Lely one other time, and I think we played the Mustang course. I had not been overly impressed with that round.
This year we played Flamingo, and I can't say enough good things about it. Just a gorgeous layout, beautifully maintained, and challenging without being brutal. Plenty of length here- refer to the slope rating, and choose which tees to play wisely. GPS on the carts is always useful. The undulating fairways are generally wide enough but protected by bunkers, and plenty of room in the rough if you're wide off the tee. Greens are generously sized & beautiful, and also guarded by sand.
We got a great deal on GolfNow for afternoon play, and had the course all to ourselves. (It's been a very unusual summer so far- rainy season has been scattered and unpredictable. No guaranteed afternoon t-storms so far this year)
Overall, one of the nicest golf courses I've experienced in recent memory.

In the Summer heat we played this course which was in good condition with very good Greens ! We enjoyed it.

Played as a single in under 3 hours. Fun course, not to difficult. Most of the water is off to the sides and out of play. Wide fairways but enough bunkers to keep it challenging. Conditions were good especially for the summer.17 and 18 are good finishing holes. I had a discount rate which made it a steal.

Really can't expect for excellent conditions in the summer. However, for the price and having the course to myself, I would definitely recommend and will play again.

Delightful---but impacted by major lightening storm/and rain/

The course layout is wonderful but the greens have been recently aerated and rolled horribly. If we had known this we would have chosen another course. That said, under normal conditions this would be a great course to play
