Sabal/Grand at Grand Palms Golf & Country Club

I have not played this course in quite a few years. I used to like the course. The good was the pace of play as there were very few people on the course so easily finished in about 3 hours. The bad were there greens. It is impossible to play them. They have blotches, bald spots, overgrowth and fungus everywhere. You basically have to play to the green and pick up...

The course itself was ok but the greens were horrible. Bare patches uncut speed varied no consistency. Sabal was worse than Grand.

I don’t expect to play here again unless conditions improve.

Who’s ever taken care of of this course needs to be fired? it is over watered and it has mildew and fungus on the greens. I

The layout I actually like. Three 9s and you'll play two of them depending when you go. But you won't be going so don't worry about it.

I got a deal for $35 so I figured why not? I've played here 20+ times so I know what to expect...

The greens are in terrible shape. Not sure what's going on but I mean they are un-puttable. For regular price I would've been p*ssed and went back to the golf shop to get my money back.

Just don't do it, it's not worth it. If it was $10 maybe that would be ok since a bucket of balls is about that much and at least you can practice since nobody is there.

DON'T DO IT! You will not be happy on this course in its current condition.

Hopefully they figure it out and get it back to playable because it's a classic course that's been around for many years. 🙏

The course itself is a good layout however the greens need to be torn out and redone

Embarrassing conditions. No excuses. Conditions should be reflect in the price. In this case, they should pay you for playing the golf course.

Some greens are in not so great shape. The price is worth the value in the area. Be ready for slow groups. Most will let you play through

I have played this course every year for the past 10 years. I love the layout, but in the past 3-4 years, they have been letting go on the maintenance. The greens are awful with many spots with no grass at all. The staff is not very interested in helping you, and the starter has let a group of two insert beetween the group in front of us and our group at the turn. The cart girl had no food (sandwiches), only snacks and lots of boose...

Please, it is not too late if you want to make this course great again...

Greens were unplayable. Would roll a putt and it would bounce more than chips.

My Son and I played Christmas morning , played 18 holes in 3 hours and 15 minutes. The course was beautiful as always and the greens are coming back again .The staff is doing a Great Job in getting them back in shape. Thanks JP

The course is in much better condition than October when I was last here

It still needs serious work but it is now playable

If you are picky go elsewhere

Good course at a reasonable price, but the greens are in very bad condition, so much so that the course should be closed, impossible to make a putt in less than 4 strokes inside the green

The greens continue to be in very bad shape! They should close one of the courses get all the greens Reddy reopened and then close another course until the greens are all done.

This course has no Marshall so there is no course management or rushing people along. Also the groups of fives and sixes in front of us hard to get in 18 holes with that.
