About
The East Course at the Country Club of Miami boasts several famous players including Bob Hope and Jack Nicklaus. The East Course is one of two courses at the club. The layout puts a premium on strategy and accuracy and it can accommodate both the beginning and experienced golfer. The golf course is well maintained with a layout that features water hazards and bunkers that come into play throughout. There is some housing close to the course. The Country Club of Miami also has a grass driving range as well as large pitching, putting, and chipping areas for golfers to work on their short game.

Played the course Dec 23rd and honestly these reviews aren’t accurate at all… don’t get me wrong the course isn’t perfect but the reviews saying it’s a dog track and the greens are nothing but dirt and sand are completely false… this course is an absolute steal for 40$ … layout is fun fairways were … decent … greens were honestly very well maintained and all round and fun course …. played both east and west and was very happy with both … ABSOLUTELY WORTH 40$ …. and btw i’ve golfed at some of the nicest courses in the world.
Greens need work
This course was pretty darn good twenty years ago. Since then they have failed to keep up the greens. Always liked the layout of the East course. For the fee charged this course is ok for a quick round or practice.
This course should be closed till fixed.
Course should be closed. Terrible greens. Not playable. Dirt patches, grass patches growing out of the greens. Called and asked if it was playable before booking and they said yes. Either they dont know what playable is and have never played golf. Or there straight robbing people. Close it down.
Good for the money
The course has a nice layout and is good enough for the 40 usd I paid. Greens are in bad shape.
the county should do better
first the east course was completely closed. the east course front nine was closed. No one said anything till we had paid an got to the starter. which is totally unacceptable. we were advised that we could get a rain check however once you drive 35 minutes to play. why would you do that especially when you don't live here. secondly the course was so full of crabgrass an weeds including the greens you could not get a true roll. grass was so high even where the cut the ball would get caught am stop pre maturely.
suggest the lose the money shut down the course an bring it up to standard as other course in miami. God knows they charge as much for 3rd class service
Skip this one
Not worth going out there as the course is really beat up and not taken care of. Weeds all over the fairway and the greens. Skip and go somewhere else.
Terrible Greens
Greens are unplayable. Paid for 18, left after 9 holes. No sense in playing this course in its current condition.
rain ticket
I played golf at east course but it was raining on #3 hole. it was heavy raining and lightning so i went to at the bar in the clubhouse. Unfortunately it never stopped raining so i gave up. I wanted their staff to refund or provide me rain ticket because i only played 2 holes. But they said NO....
In decline
Needs serious caring, the greens in particular. Will not play here again.
