About
The Country Club of Miami, located near residential areas, boasts two courses, the East Course and the West Course. Both golf courses at the club have seen many famous players including Jackie Gleason, Bob Hope, and Jack Nicklaus. The West Course features rolling greens as well as many strategically placed bunkers. Water hazards also come into play on a few holes. The course is very well maintained and provides a good game for players of any skill level. Conveniently, the golf club has a large pitting, putting, and chipping area where golfers can work on their short game and there is also a grass driving range.

Enjoyable...
1st time playing this course....decided to play based on reviews and cost (my MO with golfnow, its all about the reviews). Pulling up to course I was like "I'm not sure about this..." It's old school, old school appearance, club house, locker room, etc.". But once there, greeted by friendly staff. Course conditions were like, ok, reviews were spot on like crab grass in fairway, some 2" grass on tee boxes, but greens were nice and kept, guess that's what really counts. Layout is fun, you will use every club in your bag, my kind of course. Got rained out on the 8th hole, but birdied the 1st hole with a 5-wood off blue tees, then pitch wedge to 1' right of flag for a tap in birdie...then you know how the saying goes, 'all down hill from here...". But overall fun, definitely recommend...wish I could have finished 18...will be back if ever in the area...

price vs course
This course use to set the standard for public golf courses It is not well kept anymore. it's been said it's closing to redo the course however they are still charging more to play. it's insane. weeds on fairway high enough to knock your balls off line. greens are more packed dirt than grass upkeep is nonexistent
Cannot believe I paid $80 for this
I truly don’t know who writes the reviews on this website but overall, they were pretty good
The grass was probably 2 inches tall on all the tea boxes. Sand traps did not even have rakes to rake the trap with nowhere on the whole course. Was there one sand trap rake?
I stuck it out for nine holes playing by myself waiting on every shot kids running all over the place in golf carts right up to the green Marshall’s running around who didn’t do anything kids yell, yelling and screaming hitting four and five balls each. It was a joke.
Good value for the money.
Challeing course with a difficult layout. Tees and greens in acceptable condition. Fairways needs some work. It is good for a fun day with colleagues.

As good a course as you will find for the money. Greens where slow but fair. Most holes where doglegs, but so slight there was no advantage to cutting corner. It was baffling that every hole had 4-8 bunkers but only saw 1 rake all day. The west course that we placed was green and the actual greens where large with no bare spot, but the east course which we did not play looked like a hayfield, completely brown. Excellent practice facilities, Overall a good value!
