Hammock Creek Golf Club

The greens were not mowed and very slow.
Its going to ruin my putting stroke playing on what feels like a stint meter of 4-5.
There are worn spots all over the greens...perhaps they are trying to grow them out. The hike from WPB to play this was disappointing.
The only value was driving and approach play.
I have played this course in years past and to see it like this is upsetting.
Please start mowing the FW, Rough, GREENS!!! Perhaps buy more gas & help. PLEASE!

This course is one of my favorites on the Treasure Coast. I am an average golfer - so I find it challenging yet playable. Top players will enjoy this course from the back tees

The pace of play was fine and I appreciated the length of the forward tees. I don't hit a long ball so I have a chance of a few pars on a shorter course.

Not Good greens, sad to play on them. Rest of the course ok, but god greens is importen.

From our base in Palm Beach it is quite a ride, but worth it.
A typical Jack Niclaus course with wide fairways and difficult entries to the greens.
We played from the golden tees so it was reasonably long.
Renovated greens are just O.K. Slower than usual with few baldspots. Fairways have a lot of spots where the weeds have come up.

Nice course, especially for the $46 golf now price. It is as tame a Nicklaus course as I've ever played but was very enjoyable. Greens need several more months to grow in well and were slow but rolled well. Had to pay for range balls- $10 got you a large bucket- enough for 2.

Only reason it didnt get 5 stars was because on course restrooms not woman friendly. Otherwise, cahalkenging enough, not too much water.

I liked the country club feel. I also liked the fact that there was a natural setting, not every hole was surrounded by homes. Staff was attentive and friendly. A bit pricey but hey, it's Florida in March during a polar vortex season.

Wonderful course for average golfers. Great staff. Will play again. Good value. Well managed, Good condition.

7100 yd course with lots of character well maintained greens were not too fast views from fairways beautiful and challenging enough I recommend Hammock creek

Enjoyed my round, went on as a single but was put with a great group of people.

Greens being re-turfed, pretty slow and bumpy.
Lots of weeds in fairways, but very playable.
We are old guys with wives. Men played from the white forward tees, plenty of challenge.

Had a great time from club drop off thru the loading. Great staff

You'd think these greens are horrid based on previous reviews. They're new so of course they're a little slow. They are pretty consistent and in nice shape. The rest of the course is in great shape and the course is challenging and has a lot of character

They are in the process of replacing the greens and they are in varying stages of growth. They were extrememly slow ansd inconsistent. I think the course is good and with better greens it would be worth another visit but not until the greens are mature.

I have been looking forward to playing Hammock Creek course for a while. A Nicklaus course consistently rated in the top 100 public courses- this will be great. WRONG.
The staff was surly and impatient even though they weren't that busy. They made me fell like they were doing me a favor by making me wait 45 minute after my tee time to let me on.
The course was very, very average. the greens were terrible and bald yet rolled like a long shag carpet. The pace of play was actually very good especially by southern Florida standards.
There are better alternatives in the area. Play if you like but prepared to be underwhelmed.

Good course for the money. Was disappointed with the greens the day we plays, they were pretty sandy. People are extra nice there. We will go back for sure!
