Play somewhere else
Wide open 1st tee with dozens of groups an hour behind because you can’t own and maintain enough carts? Every employee acts like this is completely normal too. Always happens here, expect to tee off very late.
great golf
This is a very nice golf course with challenging elevation changes and a good challenge. Not a course to walk. Conditions were really good in terms of maintainance.
Great Sunday Round
This course was in acceptable condition for the hot summer. We never waited at any of the tee boxes so pace of play was great. For $50 at 2pm it’s hard to beat the value for this challenging course.
Has the potential to be a gem but….
Long story short. Great track. Challenging and good condition for the money, especially for Southern California. However…. Staff are indifferent, and the starter doesn’t seem to know where he is. Starting pace can be more than an hour behind for no apparent reason. If your scheduled tee time is after 230 you may not finish. They run out of golf carts because half of them aren’t charged, then act like that’s a normal thing to happen.
Bottom line… worth a visit… don’t expect a warm welcome… there’s probably some kind of active amber alert looking for the starter, get a tee time before 11.
Fun course to test skills
Great course layout. Fairways in good shape considering drought and summer heat. A good challenge. Very enjoyable to play.
Nice course not nice service
Have loved this course in the past, layout is great and conditions are good but I would not recommend coming in the afternoon. Our tee time was 3:20 and we didn’t tee off till 4pm, and didn’t get a full 18 in. There were 30 carts in the barn, but none had been properly charged. The starter says this happens every day and he would never play here, those were his actual words. The not so helpful guy in the pro shop still charged us for range balls, and wouldn’t do anything for us for the troubles. He definitely did not want to be working there and it showed. Maybe a nice round of beers and courtesy range balls would help ease the wait, cost the club nothing, and give everyone a better experience but they don’t care. Not coming back here again, way too many courses in the area that value your business more.
Drying up
Getting really dry
Tees are like the rocky mountain foot hills. Impossible to get a flat stance. Fairways sre just fair because they cut the grass and leave tons of cut grass blades behind. Its called garbage maintenance.
This.place like so many other places count on drinking golfers not to nitice. Weekend rates are way over priced but covid golfers would rather pay than work
Not too hot...
But they need to fix their water system. Dry right next to lush to swampy. But they were actively working on it.
Slow pace in hot weather
Played 5 hour run in very hot day was not much of fun.
Breath of fresh air.
Great conditions on a course that is challenging but fun.
Greens are in perfect shape no ball marks making it difficult to putt like some tracks that charge $160.00 a round. Very friendly starter and all staff. I truly enjoy coming here from Newport Beach & look forward to my next round here.
Challenging
Good , some repairs needed but nice and will play there again in future
