LPGA International - Jones Course

Sand traps had not been been rake in a couple of days.

Good course. It was windy when I played and the course was a little wet so it played a little longer than it should’ve from the blue tees. I enjoyed the round and pace of play was great! The price was great also!

Only problem is course program to keep you away from green areas

I am not an abuser but the distance is too far from green areas. The alarm and possible stoppage also affects some areas in the sides of fairways

Alarm activated after u leave cart then locks cart. Then u must call pro shop to get moving. Most courses ask you to reverse out of area

I like exercise but the system is way too far from green

Ask for electric cart as they r not regulated

No beverage cart for the first nine holes. Carts had no coolers on them. One of the carts brakes did not work. Bunkers were filled with water . Greens were just ok condition Had a group of fossils in front of us and waited on every tee box. No Ranger on the coarse to keep pace of play going. Teed off at 7:40 and it took 5 hours , Brutal , NOT WORTH 80.00 DOLLARS ,

Bad rain the day before and surprisingly no drainage.for the expected player experience. Bunkers are now waterholes. Cart path only significantly slowed play. 5 hours of play in the heat. Punched greens are coming back, but still a little sandy and bumpy. Would have been happier if we had a price break. .

Enjoyable course to play Mid August is very hot and on our visit greens look like they were aerated recently with sand and still bumps

This course is fun and challenging at any level. Has plenty of water holes to make it a lil harder. Only complaint I have is with GOLFNOW APP. I arrived at my tee time and there was no reservation. I had to book a different tee time which luckily the course had one only 30 minutes later. But I paid a booking fee and there was no booking.

Overall I really do enjoy this course. The past few times I have played in the afternoon and there is never a starter so it’s always a free for all at the Tbox and then the pace of play is terrible or you always have some one hitting into you. The water situation is just atrocious. You MAYBE have one water jug on the front 9 and then on the back 9 you don’t hit another water jug until 16 and it is ALWAYS empty, not to mention they have a water fountain that’s broken. Now I can POSSIBLY understand this in the afternoon because it’s late and a lot of people have come throughout the day. I played at 830am on Sunday and STILL no water and a broken water fountain. For someone who lives locally this is just unacceptable. It’s 100 degrees out and if I’m paying 65$+ to play a round of golf I shouldn’t have to struggle to find a drink of water in the middle of the summer on a hot day. Not to mention we didn’t see a beverage cart until hole 17. I’m lucky that I brought 3 bottles of my own water. For such a beautiful and fun course you need to do better and I unfortunately won’t be back for a while.

Overall, we had a nice round at the Jones course on Sunday. The course conditions were excellent and the layout is very fun. It’s challenging enough, but the layout is fairly open so your ball is still in play on a lot of holes if you happen to miss right or left. The biggest issue in our round was the pace of play, which was horrible. Unfortunately, it was all due to one foursome that was holding everybody up. They were about a hole and a half behind pace with each hole ahead of that group wide-open. We did not see a ranger come out one time to try and speed them up which was unfortunate, so the round took over 4 1/2 hours to complete.

It was cart path only, fairways soft & soggy, greens slower than usual, extreme heat with not much shade available, tough day for golf

A little wet but but course handled the weather well. Tee to green good shape.

Cart path only on more than just the par 3’s

Makes it tough trek on some long holes in the Hot temps especially, and when your cart locks out because you went a foot to far , then your pushing your cart in the heat! Just expect more for the price you pay. Staff not Great just there.

Three groups backed up on one 2nd hole and no ranger. I left and went to the pro shop to ask for a rain check. They said no because i booked.through Golf Now. They didn't honor it and i play often at top price. I will not play again.
