About
Both the East Course and the West Course at Jacaranda Golf Club are four-star rated by Golf Digest. These challenging golf courses weave across a tropical landscape covered with blue lagoons, tranquil ponds, and swaying palm trees. The West Course is the shorter of the two courses but it is no less challenging. Strategy and skill, rather than length, are the determining factors on this layout. With water hazards to avoid, numerous tricky doglegs, and tight bunkering along the greensides and landing areas, this course is definitely a shot-maker's layout. The raised, sloped greens and undulating, tree-lined fairways will require some careful maneuvering. The outward nine is slightly more forgiving than the demanding inward nine, which features more boldly contoured green complexes. The challenging, yet versatile design of both golf courses has made Jacaranda one of southeast Florida's most popular golfing destinations.

east course
I went out as a single around 4:00 and got paired up with a guy. We had our own carts, which turned out to be advantageous as that poor guy had a very rough round and suggested I go on without him after about the 5th hole. Two singles behind us had already passed through. After that, it was clear sailing for my round. Very few golfers out at that time during the week. Very peaceful. Would definitely play again, especially with the lower rates!

beautiful day to play
Teed off at 8:50 on West course. Friend and I were set up with twosome. Myself and young big gun played the . #2 tees, his dad played #3 tees and my friend played #4 tees. Let a twosome thru after 3 holes and were never pressed again. Played round in exactly 4 hours. The fairways and greens were in excellent condition. Never even thought about rolling the ball over. Some of the tees, especially on the par 3's were rounded and needed to be leveled. The bunkers had not been raked and were only fair. They might have skipped raking as it rained a little the night before. The rough was just that--stay out as not too many good lies. The price was right and would return. Never saw a bar to get a beer after the round.Had a couple at the pool where we stay instead.

great greens
this was one of the best courses I have played while in Fl. The fairways where excellent and so where the greens. they paired me up with a couple from Scotland and was a very good time. The staff was very friendly and told us about the course

We played in the morning at the east course and also take advantage of special rate after 2.00 pm. In between time, we enjoyed lunch at club house and food is very good value. Staffs at the restaurant are very friendly. Except we met the same grumpy starter who told us to wait or go to putting green again. This time we don' t want any complain for being a couple minutes late, we just waited inside our cart.

Bunkers were firm (apparently packed by earlier rain) and 1 r two tee boxes were a little rough and small. Front and back 9 are far apart but well marked layout to avoid confusion. Other than that, course was in good condition, facility was well staffed and maintained.

Excellent course
Well maintained, professional and friendly staff, had a great round, would recommend this course to golfers of all levels. We played the west course and are going back today to play the east course today.

Boring track. Rental clubs are criminally high priced!
Great staff. Great shape, great pace but. Boring layout. Each hole is the same as the rest. $100 for rentals is stealing as far as I am concerned. Reduce the cost.

Great course, varied holes, perfect condition
Played w/ another single, 15 holes in two hours noon Sunday, took another 45 minutes for last holes, got behind a foursome. One of the better courses played in FL, definitely a must play, guy I playeed w. said East course as good or better.

Jacaranda East
Course was in very good shape. I mistakenly booked the West but the starter was very accommodating in setting me up with another single on the East Course. Greens were in excellent shape with aprons in very nice condition as well. Highly recommend playing here!

Slow Play Problem
Teed us off about an hour behind a mini-tour event of some sort. No notice, no advance warning...found out about it when we called from the 7th tee (2 hrs in) to ask if the could please get a ranger on the course to get things moving. Took us 5 hrs to play. Not the friendliest folks either. Very disappointing given all we had read and what our expectations were. We won't be coming back!
