West at Jacaranda Golf Club

West course was in good shape. I remember it being in a little bit better condition when I played a couple years ago. Tee boxes and some parts around the green/bunkers were a bit patchy. That's what keeps this from being a five star course. But I still think it's a good value if you can find it for under $75. Wouldn't pay more than that to play.

Jacaranda West is always in terrific condition. It's challenging but fair. The greens are excellent. The staff is very professional. Highly recommended when you're in the greater Fort Lauderdale area.

Played there a few times. Just love both courses but I prefer the east . Very friendly staff. Very good burger in the club house. I play Jacaranda every time I go in the fort lauderdale area.

These two courses are a must play in Ft. Lauderdale area. We also played Palm-Aire, Woodlands and TPC Eagle Trace. These courses out classed them all. The staff was exceptionally friendly considering it was Christmas Eve and Christmas morning at 6:15am when we arrived both days. There is a nice range, putting green near each first tee to get loose. This was the only course that actually had breakfast (and coffee!) available. Both courses provided a test as the grass is much different than home. The greens were true and rolled at a good pace. The West course demands more accuracy but is more scoreable.
Again, I cannot say enough great things about the staff, every single person made you feel welcome.

Staff very friendly and helpful from taking bag when I arrived thru pro shop and starter. Ranger on the course was non intrusive but present. Layout is challenging but all skill levels will enjoy it.

Driving Range was beat up and balls were tired. But fine for a quick warm up. You need to remember you are not at a private club.

Played west course from the back tees. Course was in very good condition from tee to green. Typical FL course with water almost on every hole but landing areas are fine and greens were receptive to approach shots. The two traps I was in had oversized rocks mixed thru sand which was annoying and did not add to the experience.

Paid $110 for green fee, cart and range balls. All in all a very good deal for the experience and course. I booked at 8 and teed of at 10:30. How do you beat that. I would definitely play again.

Out of all the courses in Ft. Lauderdale area this is one of my favorites. The course is unique in that is has more undulation than most other courses in the area. I have not played it for several years until this year and apparently they've done some renovations and it shows. It is certainly one of the pricier courses compared to some of the others in the area but the conditions were top notch and the greens were some of the fastest in the area (which I like). There are a lot of forced carries and water does come into play on a few holes but the course is fair for both high and low handicappers if you play the right tees. If you are planning a trip to the area or have not played this course before it's well worth trying.

I would appreciate healthier food at 91/2. Every offering has fries.

On thing to improve: Jim's friendliness as a starter (the older individual). Why is he so rude and unpleasant???

Wonderful course! Definitely a cut Above the rest.

We arrived to a day of heavy rain. We managed to get our round in by playing cart path only. Despite all that the round was enjoyable owing to good greens. Fairways were very wet. Still a good course to play any day of the week.

Jacaranda has been a favorite for years. Never disappointing. Soft greens and great condition, fair ways in great condition. Very challenging tee to green. I advise this course to anyone looking for a competitive round in South Florida. Course management a must and on a windy day VERY tough!

Wish I had more time! Even with soggy fairways I couldn't ask for a better place to end my stay in Florida. Staff was excellent, but the course was better. With tons of rain the greens still ran perfect.if I lived in area this would be my home course.
Can't wait to return!

Loved the west course! More scenic, tricky tight landing areas made the course very challenging! Loved it

Helpful staff ; after extremely slowly front nine on west course the starter moved us to the front 9 on east !

If you're looking to use all of the clubs in your bag, then play this course! Fairways, tee boxes, and greens were in very good condition. The rough was rough; couldn't figure out how to hit out of it during the entire round! And...."water, water everywhere but nary a drop to drink!" Make sure you pack "water balls"...

To start with, the course is in great shape. Fairways and greens lush and well cut. Then, as twosome, on a Sunday morning, we played in under 4 hours. Good staff, well organized.

This West course just amazed us! The fairways were immaculate, better than greens at other courses! The course was a little wet due to rain the previous day, we started with the 90 degree cart rule but the ranger came by and said only a couple holes needed the 90 degree rule, the rest were open. This helped save the legs a bit. We thoroughly enjoyed our day here, so much so, we had to come back to try the East course. I have to mention that the Starter was really nice, we got there earlier than our tee time and he sent us right out, we were never pushed or waited at any time. The course had generous fairways but you could find trouble with erred shots. The greens were beautiful and on the fast side. Over all, Sheer bliss!
