West at Jacaranda Golf Club

Unfortunately I was unable to play the course due to the course running out of rental clubs. Had high hopes to play the course on vacation and on my birthday but no luck. Maybe next time am in Florida next year I can try and play

Excellent course layout. The second tees were challenging but fun to play. Greens were in excellent shape and the fairways were in amazing shape. Because of the experience on the west course, I would like to play the east before I leave.

We came in from out of town looking for a nice course with a club rental. When we went to the pro shop we found out there club rental was $59. No big deal until we found out that we were paying a premium cost for old taylormade 2.0 that We're all dinged and scratched. These clubs are 5 years old and should not pay this high of a club rental. Besides the rental everything else was great.

I played here for the first time in 20 years and found the renovations to be excellent. I barely recognized the course. It was in great shape except that all the rain had left many fairways soggy. The greens, though, were in excellent shape. The course is moderately difficult for the low handicapper. My only complaint was a foursome that would not let the singles play through.

Average course and extremely slow play made for a less than enjoyable experience. Greens fees to high for this level of course. I've played the East and it's better but for the price look elsewhere.

Conditions were wet but the course was still in great shape. Well worth the money to play this course. Cant wait to play again and try the West course.

Great course, very good greens, friendly helpful staff. Just plain old great experience. Wife and I played by our selves. No body in front or behind. Three and half hour round. In the area don't miss the chance

Excellent day of golf, apart from the extreme heat. The course is in excellent shape, especially considering its the middle of summer. Friendly staff, very clean facilities. Had an awesome day if golf! Highly recommended!

I have heard so many good things about this course and I was fortunate to play there on my birthday for a great price. The course was in excellent condition. The greens were the fastest that I have ever played on. Super fast!! All the traps were very well taken care of. Very long course. I played the east course. I will return to play ASAP.

played on 7/62015 course was in great shape less the bunkers.. beautiful and well thought bunkers to make llay tough were like hitting rocks off a driveway. i walked in several other bunkers and got the same result.. plan on being in the sand there is lots of it but bring ur drill to break loose the sand. the course was in super great shape. fairways soft but firms green hard but receptive to balls that spin.. One issue i had was mowing crew present at 10 am? what i couldnt tee at 6 bc mowers would be out however ever hole after 8 i had to watch and or wait for mowing crew.. other than that it was awesoms..

Good course, one of the best in the area.Greens a little too slow- even at the uphill puts ball would stop too quick.

This course is in excellent shape and a GREAT value. I play all over the country and a lot in FL. This course in the upper echelon for sure.

This course was in great shape and very enjoyable. So glad I found it on golfnow and read reviews! Only reason I didn't give a 5 was due to greens. They weren't perfect. Good though!!

Why is this important? because it affects everything else that is important when playing golf: course conditions, managing tee times, getting golfers off, pace of play, equipment in good condittion, etc. I think this is too often overlooked. There are many nice courses around but when they are poorly managed, a simple thing like enforcing pace of play, it can ruin the experience. The only negative that I will mention from my round yesterday, too many golfers don't repair ball marks & the greens were startng to feel the affects. This is very unfortunate for an otherwise impecable course. Not a lot the course can do other than communicate as much as they can. Personally, I would be more strict & if I would catch a golfer not repairing ball marks, I would refund him/hers fees and send them off. There are also plenty of dog tracks around more suitable for these type golfers and golfers that enjoy 5 -6 hour rounds, (are you starting to catch some of my pet peaves?); if you can't follow golf etiquette, and have respect for the game, which in golf is as important as anything else, please don't ruin it for the rest of us, like I said, there are plenty of dog track type courses more suitable for you.

Played here when in Ft. Lauderdale on business. Loved the course, and was a great value. Only minor complaint was the sand traps -- which I spent a lot of time in. They were hard and gravelly -- not what I would expect to find in a Florida course... especially one on the Coast.

I would definitely come back and play again. Challenging but fair. Greens were quick, but rolled true. One of the most scenic courses I have played.

Played this course for first time in years. Green were punched 10 days prior and are recovering. Tees & fairways were perfect.

Nice course, fairly good pace of play. The bunkers were the only thing that would keep it from a better rating. With all the beautiful sand in Florida they should put some in the bunkers.
