Sawgrass Country Club - West/East
About
The East/West Course is Sawgrass Country Club's signature course where the Players Championship, the PGA Tour's premier event, was played for five years before moving to TPC at Sawgrass. It is one of three rotations offered by the 27 championship holes at the club and it is the most difficult. There are strategically placed bunkers guarding the greens and water comes into play on all but three holes. The most challenging element on this golf course though, are the treacherous winds that sweep through every hole. The signature hole is the West nine's sixth hole. This tricky par-3 requires a cunning shot to a peninsula green.

Experience at Sawgrass CC
I found this course to be very challenging, the tee
boxes were placed where you had to hit the tee ball
to certain areas. It was definitely risk and reward
on the Tee Ball.
The fairways were like hitting off your living room
carpet, just perfectly manicured.
The greens were running 13.5 and my fore caddie
was very good at reading them for me.
I made a few 20 footers that I didn't have a clue
on reading them.
I recommend this course to all golfers.
