Stoneybrook West Golf Course
About
Designed by Arthur Hills Stoneybrook West is a roaming blend of gutsy, penal holes, picturesque par threes over water, reachable par fives (527 and 522 yards from the tips, then 578 and 605), and several short, sporty par fours that cover all corners of the site. Dramatically rolling fairways salted with Hills' trademark grass-faced bunkers, subtle elevation changes and undulating greens were all artfully carved out of native orange groves, overlooking Black Lake. Water comes into play on 12 holes; you'll find all 18 are distinctly different, challenging and memorable.
For those visiting the Orlando area, particularly the Disney World complex, Stoneybrook West is just a matter of minutes up the road to the north. For those who frequent the Orlando golf circuit, Stoneybrook West is a course that must be seen to be measured against the other name courses.

The course was in great condition
My buddies and I had a great day , the pace of play very good.
Great course from the Pro shop to the 18th hole
I had an awesome experience. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. I played with Joe ( member) and his friend. I’m here on vacation from Dallas and they made me feel at home. I will be back to play another round.
Typical Florida Design. Nice greens, rough fairways.
Besides being crazy hot & humid, the round overall was fun and the course was a nice track. Similar to most public Florida courses in overall layout, flow, etc.
The greens were pretty good overall. Tee boxes were average, fairways were pretty poor in spots, and the rough was awful (weeds and sandy).
Overall the value ($45) was good. Would play again.
SBW
A great layout, but not in its best condition. Course needs lots of TLC. Greens are at least put table. Bunkers needs lots of work. Fairways in tough shape. 6 and 10 are terrible. Areas around the greens contain a lot of clover and makes chipping difficult, I still like the layout and play it for the right price.
Where’s the management?
The only thing worse than the course condition is the top tier rudeness of the staff. Every time I play here, I remember why I never play here. I don’t put much emphasis on every course being in great condition but disrespectful staff is where I draw the line.
Course is nice, but needs TLC
The grass is being well maintained. The fairways, the roughs, and the greens were all nice, in my opinion. So the day-to-day basic groundwork is ok. Where I would suggest some attention is with manicuring the "accessories." By that I mean: edge the cart paths, clean the bathrooms, fix the cracks in the cart paths and lastly, rebuild that wooden bridge. I thought I was going to fall right through it. Overall, I had a nice experience playing the course.
Exceeded expectations
First time playing Stoneybrook East. Was concerned with the low rating (3.3) in Golf Pass. I was pleasantly surprised with the condition of the course and the amenities (down to the food in the clubhouse). The course layout is challenging but playable with water in play, well placed bunkers and a mix of short and long holes. Tees and greens were in great shape, with some of the fairways suffering from the lack of rain in the area. It compares favorably with courses rated 4 and above in the area and it is a great value. I will definitely include it in my favorites.
This course sucks
Greens have 12 different grasses, the rough if you want to call it that is just sand traps, the tee shots aren’t challenging at all, the only good things u have to save are the fairways are somewhat the same grass, the tee boxes are in good quality, and the pro shop attendant was nice. There was also a rabbit. DO NOT GO HERE.
Is not looking good.
Bad tee boxes, bad fairways, un cut rough areas that you can loose a ball even knowing that was there. Sand traps was solid pavements. Greens needs work but at least they were cutting them.
Good bang for your buck
Greens ran true and fast and were in great condition as were the tee boxes, fairways are a bit rough. Friendly staff and great food at the restraunt. Recommend
Stonybrooks
I know there are some bad reviews but in reality the majority of the golf course in good. It could have a little care but is not bad. I will play again 👍🏼
Great course
Great time, great staff, great score and will be back.
