Stoneybrook West Golf Course
About
Designed by Arthur Hills Stoneybrook West is a roaming blend of gutsy, penal holes, picturesque par threes over water, reachable par fives (527 and 522 yards from the tips, then 578 and 605), and several short, sporty par fours that cover all corners of the site. Dramatically rolling fairways salted with Hills' trademark grass-faced bunkers, subtle elevation changes and undulating greens were all artfully carved out of native orange groves, overlooking Black Lake. Water comes into play on 12 holes; you'll find all 18 are distinctly different, challenging and memorable.
For those visiting the Orlando area, particularly the Disney World complex, Stoneybrook West is just a matter of minutes up the road to the north. For those who frequent the Orlando golf circuit, Stoneybrook West is a course that must be seen to be measured against the other name courses.

Reviews
Great layout, needs green grass
Course layout was tough but enjoyable. Water and bunker hazards make it difficult for any handicap. Entire course just needs more watering. Everything very dry. Greens best part of the course but they need work. I would play here again on a discounted price. 18 holes in 2.5 hours solo on a Tuesday that part I can appreciate for sure
Stoneybrook
We Booked the wrong Stoneybrook Golf Club. We stand at Stoneybrook and had no teetime. Can you refund the Money.
The round started with a Starter who clearly couldn't be bothered. No instruction on the course/flag placement, no welcome.
Then we found out the group in front had 5 golfers. We challenged them to be told one was the club professional and we would be let through if they held us up. We waited on every hole and were never let through , over 2 1/2 hours for nine holes ! We got to see coaching on every tee and green.
The course needs maintenance with weeds in evidence on most holes.
The course layout is good and cost makes it worthwhile which is why I gave 2 stars rather than 1.
Awful
Course in shocking condition, pace of play awful caused by the group in front.
Apparently 5 balls (including the club professional who should know better) are welcomed - fortunately they went off after their 2hr 45mins (approx) front nine, unsurprisingly no one on the back nine and round in less than 90 mins for a 3 ball.......
Grass on the fairways generally none existent just weeds, only $39 and I guess you get what you pay for.
Absolutely do not recommend.
Nice Outing
Arrived for a 7:50 AM tee time and started on time. I was a single paired with two gentlemen from Oregon. We had nobody in front of us until hole 15. At that point we caught up with the twosome in front of us who had been waiting several holes for the 6-some that would not let them play through. We joined them at 15 and finished the round with them. 6-some??? Come on... We still finished the round right at 4 hours. Really good for a Saturday.
Overall, the course was in decent shape but there is a lot of clover in the rough which can make it difficult to find your ball if not in the fairway. The honeybees were loving the clover blossoms. Greens were really fast and shots did not stick well so you had to adjust and watch you approach shots.
I have played this course several times and will return. It is a challenging track and reasonably priced.
Would play again for $30.00
The course was a bit rough, patchy fairways are times, greens were fast considering how thick they were, lots of patchy little weeds as well, goose grass weed maybe? We checked in with the starter 10 minutes before our tee time, and he acted like we were 10 minutes late or like we kicked his dog or something.. I guess he was having a bad day. On the upside, we saw the drink cart at least 3 times and didn't have to wait for anyone else until the final hole. $55.00 for 18 holes was a bit overpriced, but I would play again for $30.00.
