TPC Tampa Bay

Course and staff were top notch. Tough course, gotta hit your shots- play it!

Playing TPC Tampa can be hit or miss. Depending on the volume of traffic on any given day play could be slow. My experience with the course was good, but could’ve been better if the pace of play were a little faster and the carts had been ready when our teatime was scheduled. We had to wait slightly for the cards to be prepared and available.

Overall, I would recommend playing TPC Tampa as the course layout and design is very good.

Had to rent clubs $79.00

Called ahead for wife to ride said $35.00

When got to course tried to charge me 79.00 for rider WoW

But let them know they said $35. On phone so that’s what I paid

The course was not what I expected greens ok nothing a public courses I play in Texas any better. Was a great layout just expected better in shape than it was even the guys I played with from Canada didn’t much think it was worth the money. Highly disappointed. The club house had bad odor coming from it the pro shop so small Food was good just charging over price big big time for the food witch I expect for being TPC but definitely wouldn’t Play this Course again if I had to pay for it. Sorry for bad review I normally won’t do one but just wanted anyone that comes here to play and expect a wow factor ForGet It.

I review golf courses for various international publications, and I found the entire experience excellent. The tee sheet was not crowded when I played, so the pace was very good; however, there is NEVER an excuse for a round over four hours. Courses that charge a lot get the occasional golfer (non-golfer, really) looking to play the best, and they are the problem. Conditions were great, and the variety of holes is truly the course's strength. The staff were all professional but friendly, and lots of places don't get that right. I highly recommend TPC Tampa Bay.

What a waste of a beautiful February Florida afternoon. We spent $140 per player and it took over 5 hours and 15 minutes to complete the round. We saw a Marshall early on the front nine and never again. Waited every shot, group in front of us was clueless and only cared about themselves. “A good walk spoiled” is very appropriate for this course.

I have played this course many times and the condition and experience was top notch. The new owners need to take a serious look at how this is operated. We tees off at 140 and couldn’t finish due to the pace of play. 14 holes in 4+ hours, no ranger in sight no help at all.

I will not be back and that is too bad

Liked the layout, although plays linger as par 4S are on average 400+ yards as ther are only 3 par 5s. greens were super fast but in poor shape. More like rolled mud. Staff was supper friendly. Driving range included in fee, but would recommend getting discount as standard rates are too high.

Greens rolled fantastic and true. The course was maintained flawlessly and didn’t have a bad lie anywhere. Made you feel like a tour player. Not many golfers on a cold Thursday morning so the pace of play was not an issue.

Staff was very friendly. Had the best chicken wrap on the turn and played with 3 great dudes from Michigan.

A bit pricy, but glad I went.

Beats working in Pennsylvania in February any day, that’s for sure!

Loved this course. even in the rain it was well maintained. The golf course staff from the cart staff to the pro shop staff were great!

Didn’t even finish front 9. Pace of play was slow and no carts available so tee times were backed up. Payed $89 for 8 holes.
