About
With its exciting and challenging layout, Lansbrook Golf Club has earned a reputation as one of Tampa Bay's finest daily-fee golf courses. The traditional 18-hole, par 72 Lane Marshall design has amenities and service at a level of excellence typically found only at private country clubs. While surrounded by Florida's lush scenery (which includes the occasional alligator) Lansbrook G.C. is conveniently located just minutes from all of Tampa's major attractions. The course was redesigned by Ron Garl to give it a more contemporary look. Water hazards on 16 holes make for interesting play.

Marshall’s need to communicate better.
11:30 tee off time was delayed at least 20 mins. so two groups of a shotgun start could make the turn in front of us. The group was not playing a scrabble so we waited on them almost every hole especially when they were putting. One guy in the group who knew they were holding us up told me they along with the group in front of them would be done on the sixth hole. After that we did not wait on anybody in front of us and we never saw the group behind us again. On about the 15th hole at least 3 different Marshall’s said we needed to pick up the pace because there was no body in front of us . We tried to explain what happened to each of them but they did not seem to understand. We finished under 2 and 1/2 hours with a delayed start and being held up the first six holes which I think was reasonable . Of course we never saw a Marshall when we were behind the slow playing scramble. That ruined what was for the most part a decent round of golf. There are a lot of other courses I can play besides this one so I don’t plan to come back.

Fairways and greens need water.

Needs some tlc.
Course is a nice track, greens are a little thin, fairways have extremely tight lies. Fairways were very thin and cut as short as the greens, extremely hard to hit out of.

The greens were in bad shape compared to other courses in the area.
The starter (Cindy) was very nice.

Slow Play Big Problem
Not a bad course for the money but the pace of play is ridiculous. Having tee times 7 minutes apart is just not realistic for amateurs. Its a conga line of golf carts at the first tee. Driving range is right next to several holes including the first hole so don't go right on your opening tee shot or finding your ball is tough and dangerous. Course layout is decent so if Lansbrook fixed pace of play, would be fun course to play.

Slow, slow, slow
While the course is in good condition, and has a nice layout, be prepared to spend more time than is reasonable to play your round. In two hours, we only were able to play 4 holes. Completely unacceptable. The card says it averages 13 minutes per hole, but was more like 30 minutes. No ranger to move things along, but too many golfers, too many close tee times. Not interested in spending 6 hours on that course again anytime soon!

Needs work
No ball washers.
Cart paths are a mess.
Pace of play was pathetic.
Rakes for the sand trap really need to be replaced.
The course overall needs work.

Rude
Had a tee time for 3 people and had a buddy get in a bad accident and I called the course to cancel my tee time and the guy at the front desk would not cancel the tee time even given the fact that my best friend is in the hospital right now, so I would not recommend and the gentleman on the phone should be fired.

SLOWEST PLAYING COURSE
They over book this course that 5 and 6 hour rounds are common. We waited for 3 groups to tee off on almost all 15 holes we managed to get through. Props to the greens keeper though, fairways and greens were in decent shape after a rough winter here.

Not worth it
Golf course was not in bad shape. In fact greens were very good. But - the course was overbooked, no ranger to speed up slow golfers, maybe 2-3 ball washers that actually worked, and NO drinkable water anywhere on the course. Had a 5 hour round. It took us 3 hours to play the first nine because of slow play ahead. We had a 1pm tee time and didn't tee off till at least 1:15. asked the starter how to know if the pins were in front part of green or center or back. He had no idea what I was talking about. Will not go back anytime soon.

Great course
Amazing course. Not easy not insanely difficult but the perfect amount of challenging.
Well maintained!
Will be playing again. Have been playing a new course every Friday for 3 months. This was my favorite so far from Orlando to Tampa
