Lansbrook Golf Club

Golf course was not in bad shape. In fact greens were very good. But - the course was overbooked, no ranger to speed up slow golfers, maybe 2-3 ball washers that actually worked, and NO drinkable water anywhere on the course. Had a 5 hour round. It took us 3 hours to play the first nine because of slow play ahead. We had a 1pm tee time and didn't tee off till at least 1:15. asked the starter how to know if the pins were in front part of green or center or back. He had no idea what I was talking about. Will not go back anytime soon.

Amazing course. Not easy not insanely difficult but the perfect amount of challenging.

Will be playing again. Have been playing a new course every Friday for 3 months. This was my favorite so far from Orlando to Tampa

Absolutely horrible pace of play. They book every 6 minutes Causing the round to be 6 hours. Would not recommend to anyone. Absolutely terrible.

We followed a 5 some all day this is not the first time I see this here the starter does not seem to care it’s all about the money.

Expect close or longer than 5 hour round. Starting times too close together. Always running behind. Several times lately there have been groups of 5 or 6 playing together. No rangers and staff merely says the course is packed. If you have an afternoon tee time you will be hard pressed to finish before dark. Otherwise the course is a bit rough in some fairway areas but the bunkers and water features make it interesting and challenging. The greens are fast & fair. If you have the time to wait for 2-3 groups backed up at every hole it’s a decent course if you get a deal or afternoon rate.

Pace of play horrible, 2 groups waiting on each tee box . Greens were bad, glad I only pd 31, because only got 13 holes in . Would NOT recommend this course…

Golf this year seems to be a crapshoot involving poorly kept and managed courses coupled with 5 - 6 hr rounds. Keeping in mind that most courses in the area suffered a lot of damage during last summer’s drought, Lansbrook seems to have the right formula. Yes, some fairways and t boxes were less than perfect but it appears the greens keepers are on top of it. The greens were very quick and in overall good condition. Best takeaway was the pace of play. A 4 hour round in the height of snowbird and pre season baseball is a rarity at best, yet on a Wednesday morning with a 9:45 t time, was finished right at 4 hours.

Started 30 minutes late. Then took over five hours to play no marshals on the course and only one cart person.

The tee boxes and greens were in good shape and the greens are rolling fast. The fairways were lacking grass and were also firm. I enjoy playing Lansbrook but was disappointed with the fairways and rough as they lacked grass and what was there was cut to most greens grass levels. I would prefer to play from a fairway bunker than the fairways as the lie was better and softer. The pace of play was painfully slow as well. Hopefully the conditions inprove soon.

Waited on every hole, only got 13 holes in , 2 groups waiting on tee box every hole. They definitely overbook their tee times: course wasn’t in very good shape either.

First, my tee time was for 2:22 showed up 45 minutes early just to be told I'm not on the sheet. So my buddy and I had to wait an additional 30 minutes to wait for another twosome.

Secondly, multiple foursomes behind and in front of us. Called for food before the turn the cook went home. Thirdly, the group behind us kept hitting 280 yards into us, the Marshall couldn't have been more than 16 years old and not doing anything to help with pace of play. Had to speak up and ask the group behind us to be patient as we're all dealing with the same issue. Lastly, didn't even get to finish due to a group of six no.more than 18 years old that absolutely refused to let us play through while hitting three to four balls a piece. The course conditions are better than the reviews, fairways look good and the greens were rock hard rolling true today.

Great greens with challenging course layout! It’s one of our favorites in the Clearwater area.

Played 11 holes in 3 hours and 45 minutes. What a joke
