Lansbrook Golf Club

Played this am. Tee off at 700am. Got done at 10:40am. Good pace. Fairways hard and no decent grass to hit off. Like hitting off a hard floor each shot. Traps most of them raked. Greens like lightning fast! Hole placements were impossible. Maintenance man must of had a bad night. Putting holes on inclines is just impossible!!! Our group was so mad at pin placements. Some holes we gave ourselves an automatic 2 putt. Other than that, we had a good time. Tee boxes were beat up and wet . Ground still hard though on them. Not worth $65 plus tax. But all these courses have jacked up rates because of snowbird season.

It was a good day but I left because of the pace of play. I called the office and he told me everything was fine but I know he wasn’t listening to me so I told him to leave

Overall the course was in good shape, and challenging layout. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I have played this course several times over the years and it has always been a great experience overall.

Conditions aren’t bad. Fairways are rough, greens are good. Took over 5 hours to play a round of golf and the marshals were doing nothing to help control the pace of play. At one point we got stuck on a par 3 and were the 6th cart in line. The Marshall drove by and didn’t say a word. A couple holes later someone’s cart died in the middle of the fairways so then we had to wait on that whole situation. Could not get into a rhythm after waiting 5 mins on every tee box to tee off. Don’t pack tee times on top of each other if you’re not going to at-least marshal the course properly. Overall just not an enjoyable golf outing, and I’m upset I had my friends drive out to then have to deal with that experience.

I have been playing here for many years. The course overall is pretty good but pace of play is worst I have ever experienced. I have been playing golf for over 40 years and have played hundreds of courses around the US. They pack as many people on here with no regard to course management or golf etiquette. We arrived early for our 3 pm tee time and while I was checking in a foursome who were supposed to tee off at 2 showed up. They allowed them to play ahead of us and they were slow as molasses. Unreal should have told them to bad play another time. Also Last round we had young kids running around the tee boxes while we waited over 20 minutes to tee off at each tee box. Then 10-15 minutes until second shot so it is tough to get any rhythm with all the waiting. Got to hole # 3 to find 6 golfs carts parked waiting to tee off and then pace slowed down to a snail pace and no Marshall to be found. Took 3 and a half hours to play 9 on a Friday afternoon awful. Stop packing people in like sardines here and manage play better here. We won’t be back until it gets better hopefully in the summer

Took over 5 hours to finish our round yesterday and the Marshall was just riding around doing nothing about it. On one of the holes the group in front of us had their cart die on them, which prolonged the hole even further. The majority of the tee boxes we were waiting almost 5 mins just to tee off. Pulled up to a par 3 and we were the 6th cart in line while people on the tee box were hitting 2 balls each off the tee. Marshall just drove right on by, not a peep. Unacceptable that the course stacks everyone on top of each other and then the course Marshalls do nothing to help keep the pace up. Would not recommend if you want to actually enjoy your round. Can’t get in a rhythm playing a course this slow.

There need to be fewer players on the course. Otherwise the course was OK and would have been perfectly acceptable.

Considering that most courses in the area are not only charging ridiculous prices but are in poor condition as well, Lansbrook is clearly putting money back in their course while maintaining reasonable greens fees. No it is not in pristine shape but it’s better than most that are charging 20-$40 more. The greens, while hard, are in nice shape, fast and rolling true. Many areas around the greens have been recently resodded and much improved. Overall this is one of the best values in the area.

Same as last year course ok for the money but wait on every shot which ruins the round for me
