Lansbrook Golf Club

Enjoyed our day at Lansbrook.

Course layout and conditions were excellent.

The greens were very fast, but if I had one complaint, it would be that the pin positions were slightly unfair.

I don’t think you should have a straight uphill putt that rolls backwards, if you come up an inch short.

Otherwise, we enjoyed our day immensely, and will be sure to come back again.

I arrived for my tee time. The gc put a group of 22 in front of booked golfers. My tee off was booked 7 days previously. . The starter said the gc wanted the extra cash so put the 22 group in front of us. It caused an extra hour following this group of 22. No respect for prepaid golfers.

Overly packed, not toouch time to finish the round, i had tee time at 1:15, didn't start until 1 :40, couldn't finish the round

Although friendly and efficient, the cashier at the pro shop was not knowledgeable about course pin placement. The ropes near the cart path path by green 2 in particular were not suspended where they were wet visible. Caused a hurtful accidental fall walking away from the cart. Several spots along cart pathe cart paths were dangerous due to no maintenance being performed. 4-6” drop off to the ground. Not acceptable near tee box areas.

Greens were inconsistent and in rather poor repair. Ball marks as well as other damage marks.. after our round we neededed use of a washroom and the request was no politely accommodated.

Not the wonderful experience I’ve been used to and expect at Lansbrook

Didn’t start till 35 minutes after schedule tee time because they had an insufficient amount of carts.

Check in counter gentleman was difficult to communicate with.

Food took exceptionally wrong and was completely the wrong food once delivered.

A prior experience at this course left a friend feeling terrible because the rudeness from the staff working the inside grill/eatery .

would rate as 4 stars when compared to other courses in the general area.

Called this course three times and sent e-mailed the GM in regards to my cancellation of a tee time I had 24hrs before I was to tee off.they went ahead and charged my credit card any way.he still hasn’t got in touch with me.so I would say that this is a good way of not getting golfers to play this course.feel free to call me or e-mail on this issue that has been going on since DECEMBER 6 2022 but I wouldn’t count on it.thank you for your incompetence of running a golf course and dealing with issues like this thank you in this matter

In the afternoon they had to wait for carts before we could tee off. They book foursomes every 7.5 minutes , so voursevis packed , had to wait on every shot

The course was in great shape and the greens and tee boxes were in good condition. Some of the bunkers were a bit shabby, but just don’t hit into them. Although there wasn’t any rain in over a week, the course had a dampness that was a bit unusual. Other than that, highly recommend.

Course was in so so shape. Bunkers need some work and be raked by maintenance crew at the start of the day. Rakes would also be helpful as most golfers didn't bother taking rakes from their carts or were too lazy to bother with a little etiquette. Pin placement flags on the flagsticks were not correct and again should have been set by maintenance crew at the start of the morning.

Pace on the course was unacceptable. Teed off at noon and finally called it a round after 14 holes due to it being the closests hole to the Pro Shop on the back 9. Time of play at this point 5 hours and 5:00pm. Would have walked off the 18th green almost in darkness and at a 6 hour pace. Heck I could have carried my bag and kept pace with those ahead of me. Oh, saw a Ranger on 3 and 6 and then no other time the rest of the day.

Played yesterday in 45 degree’s weather. Pace was very slow and waited 5-8 minutes on just about every tee box. Other than that, course I felt in good shape. Greens extremely fast especially putting downhill. Course fairways well cut and full of grass. Just a few bare spots. Felt good value on tee off for $41.35 each with tax at a 11:22am tee time. I would recommend to play. Just be careful you don’t park just off cart paths. I was literally 2 feet off of cement path and ground guy in a cart yelled at me and asked that I keep on paths close to tee boxes and greens. Believe me, course not that immaculate to worry about parking two feet off path. It just irritates players.

Played on a rainy day but had a good time. They have brand new top of the line Titelist clubs (brand new TSi driver, SM9 vokey wedges etc) for rent so that was awesome. Solid time overall
