Lansbrook Golf Club

We normally take between 3:15-3:45 to play a course of this length, this round took 5:04 because of pace of play. I would not recommend this. Ourse because of this. Aside from this it is a good course to play.

Greens need attention hardly no grass pace of play slow.

Course conditions were OK. Seems most courses in the Tampa Bay area don't have great fairways due to the dry conditions.

When we arrived to check in with the starter we saw a foursome teeing off, another foursome waiting to tee off next and another foursome waiting behind them.

We got in 9 holes in 3 hours 15 minutes as the group in front of us was mixed 2 men and 2 ladies. One of the ladies was hitting the ball 25 to 35 yards at a time.

Playing through wasn't an option because every hole had foursome on the green and foursome waiting.

We started at 2 and after 5 we were going to not play the 10th but the other groups lett. We had about a 45 minutes of light and got in 4 holes in 40 minutes.

This course is way Overbooked. I had to wait on carts until 5 mins past my tee time. 18 holes took 5 hours and 45 mins. Greens are also in horrible shape.

Pace of play was horrible. Took us 2h 45m to play the front 9. The back was a little better but we still ended up easily over 5hrs. I get that it’s a busy time of year but either have rangers moving people along or spread the tee times out. There’s also no water stations anywhere on the course and we saw the cart woman one time in 5+ hours. Course was in decent enough shape for the price point. Clubhouse is in serious need of a renovation.

It took 3hrs to play the first 9. Waiting on every hole. Had to guit after 11 holes because of a commitment

Interesting course - more challenging than I anticipated!

Went off two groups ahead of mine and I played 5 holes in 2 hours. Greens were poorly maintained, bunkers were hard as a rock too. Ended up heading back to the pro shop after there were 3-4 groups on #6. Went in and asked for a refund or rain check; they gave me a rain check for 13 holes. Lol, never in my life have I experienced something like this. Got the math wrong too on the pro rate they did. The fact they had no answer or marshal out there pushing pace along or as to why it’s that slow, they only said it’s “like this everyday”….that should tell everyone what they need to know. If you have 6+ hours to burn; this is your course. If you actually want to play a round and enjoy a course, steer clear of Lansbrook Golf Club.

Pace of play was horrible...I realize that some of the time this can't really be controlled by the starter or the course because some people are just lousy golfers but this seems to be a theme with this place as judged by the other reviews...despite having a morning tee time we went off about 30 minutes late and the round was close to five hours...the previous time I played here the same thing happened as well...the course layout is good but the greens were basically hard sand with very little grass...won't be back anytime soon...

Over booked 1:15 tee time, did not tee off until 2:45.

Extremely slow play.

Enjoyed the course and understand slower play but 2 1/2 hrs for 9 holes is a bit much. . We dropped at 11. Would have liked to see the rest of the course

Super course! Challenging, in great shape, and friendly staff!

Paid virtually full price for a tee off tee time at 1:15. Didn't tee off till 1:35 and too 4.5 hours to golf 13 holes. Absolutely ridiculous. Couldn't take it anymore and disgusted what I paid tee off for. Could have golfed published for the same money at noon.

Arrived half hour early; started half hour late. Finished at dusk. 5 hours play time. Too slow, overbooked.
