Lansbrook Golf Club

Enjoy playing this course. Nice layout and challenging. I have been playing for 3 years and I really enjoy playing this course.

The greens were in great shape. We teed off at 2:15 pm and finished 6:05 pm. This included waiting the last 3 holes. Overall, the course was in very good shape. I found the course layout challenging but fair. I would definitely play here again.

So many courses this time of year are only concerned with getting as many onto the course as possible, and this happens to be one of those courses. It is not enjoyable to be so jam packed that you have to wait between every shot. Our round took 5.5 hours which is honestly beyond ridiculous. They book tee times too close together with no regard for the golfers. It’s all about the $$$. The course was very hard and dry like it had not been watered regularly. The greens were pretty decent but many of the pins were placed on the side of a hill which made it hard for one of the players in our group that was not used to that. I doubt I would go back to this course. I like to play in 4 hours or less. It is virtually impossible to do that with tee times so close to each other.

Greens were hit n miss. At least 1/2 weren’t in good shape (need rolled or patchy). Pace of play was awful. Fairways were also hit n miss. Way too many bare spots. We were about to 20 minutes before our tee time (after checking in) and were told by the starter we had to join another 2some immediately. He said they were ahead of schedule (hard to believe) and we had no chance to loosen up or even stretch. Not a good experience in any way. Have played there before and it was in better shape. Pace of play is always an issue.

Overall experience with Lansbrook Golf Club was good. Pro Shop staff were very friendly and enthusiastic about their course and the playing conditions. As I was new to playing the course, they provided some guidance on the strategies for playing the course - especially on holes 5 and 15. Since there were very few golfers on the course, I was allowed to tee off whenever I was ready rather than wait for my actual tee time. The overall condition of the course was pretty good. The tee boxes were well groomed. The fairways were starting to grow in and recover from the dormant conditions of winter and the recent storms. The greens were smooth and rolled fairly fast and true, but there were some dead spots that were either bare or filled over with sand. In a few weeks, I suspect much of this will improve with the weather and regular maintenance. The course layout was interesting as most of the holes had some character of their own with a good mix of straight, dogleg left, dogleg right, short, medium, and long length. The par 3 holes were all different in design style and length requiring a different club to be used on each one. I would consider playing again should I return to the area in the future.

Course was in great shape and the staff was very friendly. But the tee times need to be adjusted. Booked an 8:07 tee time, didn’t tee off until 8:33. Then, almost 6 hours later we finished. Was a great saturday and decent round but could have been even better without all the “hurry up to wait” all day.

Not worth a 60 dollar tee time with the course traffic, and conditions not being outstanding, but what course is? Being said catching a deal here is well worth it, and maybe come fall after some more rain and a summer of growth for the grass it could be beyond nice.

Greens were in decent shape for just being sanded, tee boxes were pretty bad, fairways were decent in most parts. The course overbooked. We played a threesome in 5.5 hours

Greens are not good, tee boxes not good, the worse part is our tee time was at 9:44, we did not went off until 10:20

They had a group of at least 12 going on.

Needless to say it was so slow, crazy slow, we live here last time we play was 7 months ago because you can’t finish a round we just give up, we try it again and it was worse.

It’s a shame because this course used to be very nice and move faster.

Here is a free advice:

Get a ranger that actually moves people, and if you have a huge group put it on the page so people decide if they want to book or not.

Layout and conditions are good except some of the greens need work do to brown worn out spots on some of the greens.
