About
With its exciting and challenging layout, Lansbrook Golf Club has earned a reputation as one of Tampa Bay's finest daily-fee golf courses. The traditional 18-hole, par 72 Lane Marshall design has amenities and service at a level of excellence typically found only at private country clubs. While surrounded by Florida's lush scenery (which includes the occasional alligator) Lansbrook G.C. is conveniently located just minutes from all of Tampa's major attractions. The course was redesigned by Ron Garl to give it a more contemporary look. Water hazards on 16 holes make for interesting play.

Great Value
Course was average and the greens were very fast and true
Lansbrook
The fairways are a bit thin greens were fast alot of 3 puts because of speed
I believe they overbook the course. Our group waited on every shot. Left after 13 holes and at that point it was 4 hours. Never saw a marshal cart except at clubhouse. I have enjoyed prior rounds at Lansbrook but yesterday was a bad experience.
Not For the Spray Hitter
By and large, this course is true to what you would expect of low budget muni course. Condition of the tee-boxes, fairways and bunkers was pretty rough. The greens were better, though. Very fast, a fair amount of slope and not too bumpy. However, like many Florida courses I've played, if you can't keep the ball in the fairway the chances are high that you'll lose a lot of balls and earn a lot of penalty strokes. The fairways are fairly narrow, and a usually have water on one side and unplayable rough on the other.
Lansbrook Not worth it
I have played this course many times and usually enjoy it, but the last two times it was extremely slow. It took over 4 hours to finish 13 holes so we left. Except for one hole, we were waiting on every hit (not just the tee box). The course was full of twosomes which I think really slows down play and the starter was not putting groups together.
Also, felt the greens were like cement.
I will not be returning there anytime soon.

Good course
Overall, a really nice layout and well-kept.
Good pace of play and I would recommend it to people who average a score of 94-100 for sure. I imagine it would be challenging from the back tees to better players, but for me from the white tees it was tough but fair.
Course conditions were great.
Tee times I believe are too close together. By 10:45 which was our tee time we were nearly 1/2 hour late. Caused slo play all day. Groups then are started too close together. Otherwise a great course and a fun day!
