I completely baffled by what the maintenance staff is trying to do we haven't had rain in 2 and 1/2 weeks in the course is completely soaked all they do is water it it's a mud bath the green finally came back they destroying a beautiful layout

For the millionth time, put out rangers so fools don't drive thru mud and water and the groups keep up!!!

5 hour round. Teed off 11:45, finished at 4:50. Wet fairways even though not much rain this week. Greens ran very good though. Maybe a little slower than usual.

Right from the start great staff, course in in great condition, greens run True and fast and food is awesome. It's nice seeing money going into the course.

I like this course under normal conditions but don’t go if it has rained the previous week, no drainage at all and. Cart path only on a lot of holes, 70 years old and to much walking , great course of its dry

6 hour round today at lansbrook. ABSOLUTELY pathetic. Longest round of my life. Our tee time was at 10:30am and we stood on the first tee for an hour before we teed off. The starter was a total a-hole. There was no practice green to kill time and they were letting twosomes off when they had 5 groups waiting to tee off. At one point there were 5 groups on one hole without a ranger in sight. For $50 this was an absolute joke. We had to play the front 9 twice because after a 3.5 hour front 9 we couldn’t wait anymore.

The course itself is a solid layout, greens were decent. Conditions were soaked as expected. I could see it being fun when dry and when tee times are spaced properly.

Amateur hour. Everyone that waited today should get both their money and their time back. Will never be back. Days like today make me appreciate private courses.

Challenging course! Lots of narrow holes. Course is in very good shape considering the amount of rain we have gotten.

At the moment, I would not recommend a friend to play this course.

Please note that I play here before, it has not been so bad.

But the last 3 times we quit at the turn

1- The pace of play, it has been just terrible, there is no marshal to speak of, none, there is someone driving a cart with the marshal does nothing.

Case in point today, we had to wait for ever on every tee, because the group in front whom none of could clear the tee box on their shots, had to wait until the group in front was off the green or off the green, seriously.! You cant get off the tee box, and you are waiting for the that is 400 yard away to clear.

2-This a nasty one

The bathroom on the front 9 is in disrepair, the toilet is clogged, and people have been dedicating, on the side, come on! That is nasty.

3-This one is just poor communication, at the pros shop, before you pay, it would be nice if they let you know, that, the course is almost under water, is up to you if you want to play or cancel, most of the holes were just not playable.

I hope to have better news next time, and please at least send someone every 30 minutes to check the bathrooms, and the pace of play.

The day we played the pro shop requested us to start on the back 9. No problem, so we head out there and finished five or so holes without any delay. Then we came up on a foursome in front of us. At first we didn’t think much of it, probably just older folks that need a little more time to move around. Oh boy were we wrong. It took us a while to realize a lady in the group would hit 2-3 balls every lie. It was like she was playing best ball by herself. The other 3 would get on the tee hit, and get in the cart, but no not this lady. Once we made the turn we got to a point where two groups behind us were waiting behind us. We spoke up to the group ahead and they obviously didn’t care as we were still watching this lady crack 2-3 balls every lie. When I say that I don’t mean just off the tee. I mean EVERY lie. At this point, we did what we’ve never done before, call the Marshall. He arrived rather quickly, and we tried to explain the situation to him, but he didn’t seem to listen either. He kept defending them even though I didn’t see him out in the course once all day. So I figured he must’ve known them. In the conversation with the Marshall he shook his head as he was leaving which sent me over the top. I didn’t say or do anything but this is the reason I will not ever return.

With that situation aside, I enjoyed the scenery. There was plenty of deer out there mid-day, and they weren’t easily startled (I. guess the residence feed them). The fairways were taken care of, and the greens were nicely mowed. Sucks that a beautiful course was ruined by sour staff.
