Hidden Valley Golf Club

I can't believe this golf course exists in such a dry area of this region. Compared to other courses nearby it's in the drier location. The rocky, arid backdrop to the lush long fairways adds a depth of enjoyment to the eyes. The layout is advanced with occasional par 3s. Mostly driver and 3 wood with a few iron drive opportunities. The course narrows into long par 4s uphill and downhill at times but mostly wide open and large. The greens were awful this month with residual sand, and patchy dry grass making everything a double putt at times for the group. There are no ball wash stations so after putting that sand on the ball could cause a driving issue next hole with the same ball. The carts are weathered and overly speed restricted. But besides those two factors an excellent and more challenging place to play compared to other locations nearby.

Really fun course. It's built into the dry area of the 15 freeway hills. Similar to a mix of Eagle Glen and Dos Lagos. Looks beautiful to see such lush fairways and green with the backdrop of arid rocky hills. Course encourages hitting straight and playing a tight drive game. Balls lost are seldom found with the wild landscape and rattlesnakes. Greens played rarely fast and mostly slower than other similar courses nearby. There are no ball wash stations. The blue tees play like championship tees and the setup looks really nice when driving to hole on par 3s. I'd play again when the weather is cooler. It's an advanced layout that plays intensely the whole way through drive to putt challenging the player at every line.

Very fun layout. Some great views. Greens were terribly shaggy, awful. Marshalling was non existent. Let us off as a two some. While there was two some ahead of us. Made no sense. Being said , I’ll be back, it’s fun, pretty views and fairly priced.

Greens were slow, inconsistent.

Fairways were sometimes dry, other times overgrown.

Maintenance has declined.

Nice day spent with my lil man. Haven’t played here in years, pace of play was way slower than I remember. Great track, friendly staff. Bunkers are almost hard pan. My son , who’s new to golf , absolutely loved the views.We’ll be back😎

Nice track but a bit rough around the edges. Played on Sunday and the greens were quite slow and very bumpy. Zero sand in any bunkers. Course is nice and green and definitely challenging. Blind shots. Severe elevation changes and doglegs. Some holes easy to reach but with high risks.

The first hole is pretty challenging but the rest of the course is fun. The elevation changes are nice and the views are beautiful. Pace of play was running 27 mins behind. Apparently that is typical. We were paired up with a single who had played it before and he had great advice throughout the course. Drinks were great at the bar as well.

The starter was unprofessional and didn’t seem to know how to do his job. I arrived early and was supposed to play with three others. When they showed up, Bob let them tee off without me, even though my name was on the same group sheet.

I told him I was part of their group, but he said no. Then, after they left, he asked if I wanted to play alone — even though he just said he doesn’t send out solo players. I ended up stuck between groups. The whole situation was frustrating and poorly handled. Very disappointing start to the round.

greeted by a soft gent by name of ralph, managed by the guy in the office, i think dave / david was his hame. both were very rude, david came from back after hearing our conversation about a coupon. was very dismissive and nonchalant. overheard him say, "if you don't pay fees, someone else will" as we were walking out. i'll never play there again.
