The aptly named Hidden Valley Golf Club feels secluded set between two large hillsides, amongst carefully preserved boulder outcroppings, ravines, and an abundance of native flora and fauna. The challenging layout demands accuracy and it will also test your shot-making skills. Golfers should expect to utilize every club in their bag. The golf course features tight fairways lined with mature trees, tricky doglegs, and multi-tiered greens that can be difficult to read. The rolling terrain also promises difficult uphill and downhill lies. Bunkers are strategically placed throughout and there is water on a few holes. A windy day adds yet another formidable element to the challenging design. The diverse layout has a mix of difficult par 3s, reachable par 5s, and a few birdie opportunities. Hidden Valley Golf Club will definitely test your skills, but five sets of tees make the course more approachable to a wide range of skill levels.

Hidden valley review

Love the layout , geeens and bunkers need work . Bunkers are always rock hard , wet dirt . Greens are so bumpy and spongy , shaggy grass . Tee boxes are very uneven and shaggy grass needs to be cut down .

It’s worth to play.

A golf course tucked away in a water-scarce, rocky mountain valley, showcasing remarkable landscapes worth exploring.

Bad customer services

Booked for afternoons and they can’t even spare one more cart for spectators. Had 2 business partner that wants to bring kids and offered to pay but got rejected. Asked if we can cancel then, they straight up rejected due to with in 24hr rule. that was a big embarrassment moment for me in front of business partners. Had to just let them charge and choose another course at that point. One of the worst golf customer services I’ve had this year.

30 minutes late off the 1st tee.

3 and a half hours to play 9 holes. Way too slow. Started 30 after our 840am tee time. Greens need to be rolled.

Please fix this!

Fun course, great layout, have been coming here for years. BUT, the greens have been getting worse and worse all year! Why is this happening? I would like to keep coming back here, but if the greens are not going to be fixed, then this will be on my "no play list"

Slow as molasses

Took 31/2 hours to play 9 and then we quit. Not a Marshall in sight. Group in front were the worst I’ve ever been behind and nothing was done despite a couple calls to the pro shop. We tried to get a refund after 1 hole and we were told no. Greens were long and slow, slow. Course layout is great!

Very scenic, gorgeous views.

Fairways and greens in great shape, although greens were slow and bumpy. Bunkers no good. Hard packed wet sand. We will play again.

Advanced layout and beautiful scenery

I can't believe this golf course exists in such a dry area of this region. Compared to other courses nearby it's in the drier location. The rocky, arid backdrop to the lush long fairways adds a depth of enjoyment to the eyes. The layout is advanced with occasional par 3s. Mostly driver and 3 wood with a few iron drive opportunities. The course narrows into long par 4s uphill and downhill at times but mostly wide open and large. The greens were awful this month with residual sand, and patchy dry grass making everything a double putt at times for the group. There are no ball wash stations so after putting that sand on the ball could cause a driving issue next hole with the same ball. The carts are weathered and overly speed restricted. But besides those two factors an excellent and more challenging place to play compared to other locations nearby.

Picturesque layout in the dry hills

Really fun course. It's built into the dry area of the 15 freeway hills. Similar to a mix of Eagle Glen and Dos Lagos. Looks beautiful to see such lush fairways and green with the backdrop of arid rocky hills. Course encourages hitting straight and playing a tight drive game. Balls lost are seldom found with the wild landscape and rattlesnakes. Greens played rarely fast and mostly slower than other similar courses nearby. There are no ball wash stations. The blue tees play like championship tees and the setup looks really nice when driving to hole on par 3s. I'd play again when the weather is cooler. It's an advanced layout that plays intensely the whole way through drive to putt challenging the player at every line.
