About
The aptly named Hidden Valley Golf Club feels secluded set between two large hillsides, amongst carefully preserved boulder outcroppings, ravines, and an abundance of native flora and fauna. The challenging layout demands accuracy and it will also test your shot-making skills. Golfers should expect to utilize every club in their bag. The golf course features tight fairways lined with mature trees, tricky doglegs, and multi-tiered greens that can be difficult to read. The rolling terrain also promises difficult uphill and downhill lies. Bunkers are strategically placed throughout and there is water on a few holes. A windy day adds yet another formidable element to the challenging design. The diverse layout has a mix of difficult par 3s, reachable par 5s, and a few birdie opportunities. Hidden Valley Golf Club will definitely test your skills, but five sets of tees make the course more approachable to a wide range of skill levels.

Great layout with bad greens
Love the layout and the elevation changes. Hated the greens and the grass used in the rough.
If the fix the greens I'd gladly play it again.
It appears that they have an issue with the greens. Multiple areas on every green had bare spots and different grasses growing. Still a good time.
Not what you would expect
This is a very fun and challenging course to play. However, the pace of play is very slow if the group ahead of you are below average golfers. I am not a great golfer myself (I shot 102 this visit) but I found myself waiting more than I would like for how much I paid. The course is not in great condition. There’s lots of dead patches of grass and the greens are patchy with lots of divot marks. I won’t be coming back for a long time.
Bunkers
Can’t call them sand bunkers , because they were all hard with rocks in them , other than that the course is in good shape
Don’t waste your time or money
Horrible conditions, shame because it could be a special course. No Marshall and a 6 hour round. Brutal. Won’t be back
Course holds, but horrible tee boxes/service
I have played here many times over the years, the course still holds its own, very challenging due to slopes. Overall, fair condition, bunkers are unplayable, not sure what is going on there. Tee boxes need attention, some have thicker grass than the rough. Greens are 8/10, and just fair in general. The service is what it is, every employee is in a bad mood, not welcoming, and when called to address sprinkler schedule during front 9, was hung up on. Got charged for a green fee for a 3-some when one didn't show, I get policy, but paying customers should be your priority. Unreal.....
Poor bunkers
It will be nice to have enough sands in the bunkers. Only very thin layer of sands there. You can't not play a true bunker shots.
Shell of its former self
I’m not sure if they got a new course superintendent or not but the course has gone down since my last round. The fairways are dying, lack of watering. The greens are atrocious from fungus or something. Just not the great course I have always played prior.
3 hours on the front 9
Course plays super slow. Great staff and team but pace of play is the worst I had ever seen anywhere. 5-10 min wait per shot
