Gatlinburg Golf Course

Gatlinburg is a very nice course. The front 9 is a fairly wide open, albeit hilly layout-3 par 5’s make for a par 37. The back nine is completely different. Tight fairways-some felt like narrow chutes with many blind shots. #12 is the signature Par 3 with a drop of over 200’ from tee to green-makes for a visually appealing hole that you won’t soon forget. Tends to backup here, but we weren’t in.a rush. A fun course-but even with GPS on the carts, a little local knowledge would help in knowing how to play. Fun day.

He told me if I didn’t like ( being lied to ) just Don’t Come Back !! What happened to southern hospitality. I was treated better at the Waffle House !!

The pro is tired and cranky. New management is needed!!

The pro doesn’t like visitors. He told me to “just not come back. “. Greens were rough. I think they just cater to there $ 600 annual pass members

The greens were dry. But it is still a nice course.

The staff were friendly and helpful and they had a pretty good system in place for cleaning carts between golfers. The front 9 definitely seemed in better shape than the back 9; some of the greens on the back 9 did not look good. The speed of play was also better on the front 9 even though a couple of groups bailed on the back 9. We did not get to finish our round; we finished 16 holes.

I was vacationing in the area and wanted to play a round of golf. This course was beautiful. The golf carts were equipped with GPS. This course is definitely hilly. I played in the afternoon, when it was extremely hot and only ended up playing nine holes.

The course was in really good shape and is very challenging. It is an enjoyable to look at the nature surrounding the course and it is to play. We cannot wait to play again

Beautiful golf course. The staff was courteous and friendly. There are a lot of substantial elevation changes that make club selection challenging. Several false fronts too. The greens were in great condition and moderately fast for bent grass. Great value. I. can't wait to go back.

The course was fantastic and the entire experience exceeded my expectation.

Loved the course, always wanted to play a hill country course ( I'm from flatland Illinois) and got my wish. Enjoyed the layout and elevated tees. However, it was cart path only that day and that made it a lot of work especially for my wife who is not a good golfer. Also was my first time playing Bermuda grass and I hated it - but I can't really hold that against them. Overall the conditions were OK; some of the tees were in bad shape. Terrific mountain views alone are worth the price. Note: You would never ever want to walk this course!

Course was in great shape. There are several difficult holes for the average player. The weather was iffy but we were able To play all 18. The pro shop workers were very friendly and helpful. Great experience!

Awesome experience playing this course for the first time. Difficult for a newer golfer. Unfortunately the wetness caused the course to be cart path only, which is a shame. Pace of play was pretty decent with a few slow downs around the tougher holes.

Our first time to play here and we loved this course. Hilly with some great vertical drops from the tee box. A very unique course with the hills and narrow fairways. The course is very well maintained. Would love to play at Gatlinburg again.
