About
Perdido Bay Golf Club has hosted several notable players including Jack Nicklaus, Tom Kite, and Curtis Strange. It also formerly served as the site to the Pensacola Open for a decade-long stretch and while it may not be host anymore it still preserves its integrity as a challenging, championship course. The golf course is long and narrow, rewarding both distance and accuracy. Although it is mostly flat there is some strategic mounding that causes tricky lies throughout. Perdido Bay Golf Club's fairways are flanked by multiple cuts of rough and the greens are large and undulating. Many of the greens, as well as the tees, are also elevated. In addition to the golf course, there are also extensive practice facilities that include a large driving range, putting green, chipping green, and greenside and fairway bunkers.

Great course
Golf course was in excellent shape. The only negative was the greens were pretty slow. Other than that it was perfect. I'm from south Alabama and was looking for a course that is in good shape for a reasonable price. This fits the bill I will be back for sure
FUN but wet!
Weather was terrible..no one could do anything about it so no bad review for that. Course is very nice...challenging but not ridiculous even for me (about a 24 handicapper). Carts are quite and well equipped with GPS and BT speaker. GPS also provided distance from hazards which was nice. Only negative was some holes didnt have full cart paths which only became an issue with the rain (cart path only) because we could not find the natural flow of the path.
All around, very nice course.
Perdido Bay Golf Course
Guys in the pro shop were great! The Marshall had no personality and was a complete jerk! The course was a great challenge with all the water and was in good shape!
General review
Cart path not continous so difficult to determine cart path only or 90 degree cart play. Need more signage for some holes on back nine as accidentally skipped 2 holes.

This was my second time, play on this course
I enjoyed it better than 1st around on Memo-Day
too many people played then. (Overcrowded)

I had a nice time playing this course. One of the best Golf Play by me since I started playing golf a few yrs ago. I have told many peolple I know in NW FL about the course.
Enjoy playing there it’s less busy than my home course! Not overwhelmed with tourists. Will be back part of rotation.
Great course not staff
Loved the course layout and difficulty was challenging from the tips. Staff however was not great. Starter/ranger Tony was not very friendly did not feel welcomed by pro shop staff/cart boy upon arrival. For cost of course thought I would get better experience. Only reason I gave three stars because of staff at restaurant/bar. They were great and very friendly. This course could be something great if had right people in place.

Staff is a problem
Have to echo the sentiments of others when it comes to the staff. Horrible. I had an 11am tee time single golfer. I arrived at 1035 and was given my cart and told to wait on the starter. Started said he was ready for me but I had just gotten to the practice green. He told me I was paired with a 3some. I objected and said my time yime was 1100 and i was a single. While I was on the practice green he removed my bag and belongings from my cart and put them in with the 3 some who had a 1040 tee time. I objected again, but was told if I wanted to golf I had to go with the 1040 group. This was not right by any stretch. To make matters worse we were later cautioned for slow play, sorry peridio bay, I wasn't the one hitting mulligans every tee shot.
Nice course layout but cannot recommend this place. Never been treated like this before.
Vacation Golf
Course was fun to play. Not to hard or crazy fairways. My first time playing Perdio and Shot my average. Greens were a little slow. Overall course was worth the price and enjoyable. .

Bad

I had a really bad experience, the staff was not nice nor was the other golfers playing on the course the same time as me. The Golfers on the course was very rude coming up talking loud while the team I was paired up with by the Club House was hitting our balls from the Tee Box. I was the only African American on this course and now I see why because I could feel I was not welcome there from the start to the end. The truth of the matter I would love to play on that course again
