Excellent short-game primer
I had the privilege of being one of the first players on the reopened course. The fairways and greens were in superb shape. The birdies and pars were a real boost to my confidence. eager to move on up to Boulder.
Course is very nice. Do not rent clubs there. Clubs are terrible, not properly organized..not clean..we had 4 4 irons in one bag..hello? Bring your own sticks...enjoy!
Nice executive 3 course
Played the Blacks (54.6/98/3020) mid day as a single in 2H, 15M using Forelinx. It was sunny, around 80 and windy.
Fun short course with 17 par 3's and a short par 4. #18 is the only hole with a water hazard. Nice place to work on your irons. A couple holes over 200 from the tips, with the shortest at 118, and a good mixture of lengths in between. I often use at least 8 different irons off the tee while playing here.
Tees were very mediocre.
The Bermuda fairways and rough do not come into play much, but they were thin and dried out preparing for over seeding.
The traps were poorly maintained, almost unplayable. Many waste areas if you get wide of the rough can come into play.
The Bermuda greens putted quick but were mostly bumpy and firm. Few ball marks because of their firmness.
Customer service always limited but good here. No drink cart, plenty of water on the course. GPS on the carts to the front/middle/back of the greens. Course is about to be closed for over seeding and is currently in scruffy condition. Fun course, recommended AFTER fall over seeding.
The Pebble Course is Fun!
Take a buddy or family and enjoy a Par 3 course with great holes and excellent customer service.
Challenging Little Course
After not playing golf for a few months I wanted to play a short course to tune up my game. The Pebble Course was convenient and the green fees through GolfNow were very reasonable. The course was in pretty good shape for this time of year and it provided sufficient challenge for me. I met up with another golfer at the fourth tee and we played the round together in about 2 1/2 hours. I’d play his course again.
Cimarron Pebble Course (par 3)
Quite quiet on this day. Tee off was booked for 12:00 but there was only 1 pair ahead of me. I was able to tee off about 20 minutes early. The course was in pretty good shape. I am an average golfer and played from the black tee blocks to increase the difficulty a bit and allow me to use a few longer clubs. Very enjoyable round with no holdups and steady pace of play. I would definitely go again to work on my short game.
Wonderful course
It is a great course to work on your short game and a wonderful place for beginners to start and learn golf. I would recommend this course to all level of players, young and old.
I have played here several times and I have always enjoyed it.
the course was in excellent shape. Some holes were little difficult to find as the nee better signs directing us to the t box
Benefit of the doubt
I played here for the first time and it was the end of their season. Their main course is closed for seasonal re seeding. I did expect to see the course in better shape than what it was. The layout is very confusing. You really must stay on the car paths to follow the sequence of the course. The areas off the fairways were either like construction zones are not well maintained. I guess for a par 3 course it is okay but do not take someone here that you're trying to impress. Again I will stress it is the end of the season and maybe if you came back here and a couple of months things may look better.
Long Par 3
I live on a par 3 course whose longest hole for ladies is 145 yards (it's short but narrow and you need to be accurate cuz of the water and homes on either side).
Cimarron course has 3 sets of T boxes: black, blue and red. Wanted something a bit more demanding but not regulation length, so played from the blue markers. Loved the challenge. Wide open course Fun to play
Pebble
Rode the Blacks (3020/54.6/98) as a single in 2H midday in sunny, breezy conditions in the low 100's.
The tees were semi lush with some brown spots due to the heat. Decently maintained with not as many divots as you would expect with 17 par 3's.
The Bermuda fairways do not come into play much, but they were semi lush with some brown spots.
The Bermuda rough was semi lush, mowed down with good coverage and some brown spots.
The sand traps were below average. Hard packed and not regularly raked. Many waste areas if you get wide of the rough can come into play.
The Bermuda greens were firm and putted medium speed with few ball marks. Chipping is over and around mounds, so you have to be creative &/or precise.
Links style executive layout with an excellent mixture of holes. Very fun short course with 17 par 3's and one short par 4. The par 3's feature a couple holes over 200 from the Blacks, with the shortest at 118 with a good mixture of lengths in between. I used almost every iron in my bag on tee shots. Nice place to work on your irons.
GPS on the basic carts is to the front/middle/back of the green only. All grass driving range. The customer service was good, quick efficient check-in with the pro shop. No drink cart. Few sand traps and #18 is the only hole with a water hazard. Recommended.

Amazing Par 3 Course to tune up your Irons!
Course is in incredible condition and offers a great range of Par 3 distances and challenges. Greens are very true and offer interesting reads and speed variations.
Highly recommend to play here when you arrive to get familiar with putting greens in the PS Area, you won't be disappointed and will be more prepared when you play the Par 72 courses in the area.
Cimarron also has the Boulders course a challenging Par 72 with the same incredible course standards
Good stuff
I was happy to finally get to play here. The club house, staff, tee boxes, fairways and greens.... all get 2 thumbs up. I drove 2 hrs & will definitely be back
Pebble course
Very windy open and exposed golf course no shelter whatsoever. Not worth the money.
